A - clear golden, one finger white head dissipated quickly leaving decent lacing
S - very toasty grainy malt, light grassiness, slight buttery scent
T - still very toasty grainy flavour, grassy and spicy hop notes, slightly metallic
M - generously carbonation bite, drys out very quickly with a bitterness and spiciness that really lingers along with some metallic quality
D - the flavours are nice but a little basic, the overall feel is very dry, almost too much so, but still enjoyable, I wouldn't turn one down

Pretty straightforward beer. Pours fizzy pale gold colour. One ginger head that recedes and keeps to a nice ring Good lacing. Strong fruit (peach) and floral aromas. Sweet honey is balanced with a hint of bitterness and moderate carbonation. The finish is a tad disappointing with a corn/grass taste.

On tap at Else's in Montreal. Drinkable, nothing special. Solid with food (butter chicken with basmati rice and naan bread).

L: Pale and filtered, golden. Very limpid. Thin foam, about one finger high when poured in a pint glass.
S: Smells like malt a lot and a bit of honey, a bit "alchooly".
T: Taste is clean, a bit sweet for my taste. Would have liked a bit more bitterness. Very easy drinking.
F: Not too liquid, very light bubbles, again goes down easily, but nothing special.
My parents used to drink this all the time when I was a kid, so it is kind of a family favorite. My mom drink this one (Extra Blonde) and my dad would drink the "Griffon Rousse". The smell of it remembers me of my childhood, and this beer will always have a special place in my heart, even though it's nothing extraordinary.
Very good deal by Montreal's standard, I bought my last 12 pack for 12.99$.

Appearance - pours a clear gold with 2 fingers white head moderate carbonation.
Aroma - breadyness followed by light fruit like apple and pear and finished with the smell of wheat zest.
taste - wheat zest is predominant here followed by apple pear some citrusy zest and fresh white bread.
Feel - watery with moderate carbonation dry finish.
Overall - not a bad extra pale light and easy drinking. I'm not sure id buy it again but its smooth enough to enjoy if offered to on a sunny summer day.

Griffon Extra Blonde from Montreal Quebec
The look of the beer is a yellow golden beer. Very light. Nice carbonation with 1 finger of head that disappear slowly.
The smell is nice also. Interesting smell that you just wanna start drink it.
The taste of it is pretty damn good. For a blonde this is much better that those Molson dry, Coors or Budweiser. But for me the finish is not quite good because you have that corn taste.
So overall would I recommend it ? For sure. This is a nice Blonde Ale. A bit expensive but the quality is there and you won t be disappointed. You have a nice smell, a nice taste, less on the finish but overall this is a good beer.
