Natural apricot flavour is married to barley and wheat malts to give St-Ambroise Apricot Wheat Ale its uniquely delicious, subtly sweet taste. A natural, delightfully refreshing choice for adventurous palates that appreciate a light ale with a playful twist.

My favourite wheat beer. It has a smooth mouthfeel with strong but not overpowering apricot flavour. Another reason I love this wheat ale, is that is isn't sour at all and you can finish a tallboy without getting tired of it.

Very fruit beer but nonetheless it is a good beer. A little too much fruit for my taste but still acceptable

Look: Pours pale copper, with a 2 finger dense white head. After 5 minutes the head is still a 1/4 inger across the top of the glass.
Smell: Aproicots. bubble gum. Very pleasing smell, the only knock on it is it is pretty subtle.
Taste: Watery and slightly sweet at start of sip. Leaving the beer in your mouth it opens with plenty of apricot sweetness. Somewhat of a grainy and earthy aftertaste.
Feel: Slightly soapy or oily at the start. The flavours open up dominating the sides of mouth and back of the tongue. Somewhat fizzy carbonation, tickles the palate.
A very nice fruit beer. Maybe a slight bit syrupy, but quite pleasant. This beer earns a strong B+

I bought this as part of a mixed pack. Normally, I am not a big fan of wheat beers, but the colour on this one is an outstanding golden. The smell hits you with heavy notes of fruity apricot, which is delivered on the taste. Nice to have a beer that delivers this way. I would have scored the taste, feel and overall higher, but found the beer a bit too sweet, missing some bitterness that I like in my beers. Conversely, my wife thought "this is really nice", since she avoids more bitter beers. So maybe I am the wrong market. Overall for a fruity beer though, quite good.

I was presently surprised by this beer as I normally don't like fruit beers.
It smells very fruity, and you can definitely taste the apricot, but it is not overpowering or syrupy. Unlike many fruit beers it is not too sour either.
You may find this too sweet but for me the sweetness was perfect. It is just slightly bitter at the end.
The wheat flavours were subtle; would have enjoed this more if it was more pronounced. Overall it was refreshing on a very hot summer day! I would try this again.

Look: Brown-gold color. Clear. Very little head on the pour, and it was completely gone in a minute.
Smell: Pleasant mild over-cooked apricot or peach, with a slight sweet plastic scent. More like a commercial cider than a beer.
Taste: Mild malt and bitters. Bitter apricot (including the pits?) mid-way through and into the aftertaste. Too sweet.
Feel: Explodes into large bubbles, making it hard to find or taste any liquid. The bubbles make it hard to swallow until it dies down a bit.
Overall: Disappointing. The flavor doesn't live up to the promise of the smell. The carbonation actually fights any attempts to swallow this.

Surprisingly good! Smells very heavily of apricot and I thought this could be an overly sweet mess, but the apricot is pretty subtle on the taste and it's overall a well-balanced refreshing beer. It's far from my favorite St-Ambroise beer but I could see myself drinking this in the summer.
