I recently moved to Lufkin from Beaumont Texas and I have to say there was really no place to get a good beer around town, luckily we found this place thanks to BA and it is by far the best place to buy beer in this area. I've been driving up to Nac about every other week or so to get my beer fix and this place has it! I've managed to get The Abyss, 120 minute, Punkin Ale, among others that I've been looking for, for a while now. The people are great, the owner has always been kind to us and has asked us what kind of beers we would like to see and for the most part delivers. The prices are a little high, but I'm willing to pay the little extra because at the end of the day driving 20 minutes to get to this store is worth it! If you're in the area, you must visit!

Pretty decent place... especially if you happen to find yourself in Nacogdoches, TX. Sparse but reasonable assortment for the discerning beer drinker. Nice selection of Stone products, Ska Brewing, Victory Brewing, Brooklyn Brewing. A few other assorted similar products, but you get the idea...very decent assortment. Mostly American micros, don't recall much in terms of Euros (other than macro brews) or Belgians. Staff was friendly. Can't really speak to their knowledge of beer, but they were very willing and left the counter to approach me on the other side of the store to inquire as to if I needed help finding anything. Prices were reasonable. Overall, if you find yourself in the area, and are looking for something solid, this is a good bet.

This is the only real place in Nac-a-nowhere to get a good consistent beer selection. Continental up the street is ok too but it is more BCM's and less variety. Liquor Mart or Gator Mart as some might call it with the Gator on the front is a good selection for deep east Texas. Good selection of Stone SA SN and Dog Fish Head. This is where you go in Nac for 120 Min or Samael's. The variety doesn't change much, but if you and a few other friends request a beer, and they can get it, they will bring it in for you. Their prices are good for the beer and the Liquor selection is good too. All in all worth you hard fought greenbacks.

I have to say that every time I (and even some of my friends) travel to Dallas or Houston I (we) become more impressed with this little store.

Case in point; the last time I went to...the really big liquor store in Houston that has the rabbit mascot; I wound up not buying as much as I thought I might because I could get a lot of the stuff locally. Score one for the home team.

About a month ago Liquor Mart (AKA GatorMart) started selling build-your-own-6-packs. This is great! It makes is so easy to try all the off the wall stuff you want to try, but you don't want to commit to a full 4 or 6 pack.

There are even a lot of things the owners can special order if you agree to buy a certain amount.
