Malty body with fresh floral hoppy taste and light citrus. Goes down smooth with a domestic feel, which being made in the midwest makes total sense. Looks great smells good, overall happy i made the decision to grab one and would definitely snift the juice off the tap if given the opportunity. Solid brew.

Pours an nice cloudy amber with a foamy off-white head. The head has excellent retention and leaves crazy lacing all around the glass.
The nose is very tropical. Lots of pineapple and orange upfront. There are some grains in there too with some lingering piney bitterness.
The taste is citrus peel bitter. This beer is very straight forward. Hops.
Mouthfeel has is light to medium bodies with refreshing carbonation. Crisp and clean.

Can, with brewed on date on the bottom.

Aroma: Smelled hops at arms length during the pour. Pine and citric with a leafy quality.

Appearance: Rocky finger of white foam settles in for the long haul. Very hazy golden orange body.

Taste: Citric, lemon peel, lime, but not overwhelmingly hoppy. A slightly under-attenuated malty base brings a lot of balance but let's the hops take the lime light.

Mouthfeel: Medium low carbonation is a little gritty, Oily finish with a bit of a chew (medium heavy body).

Overall: A solid IPA. Big, but easy drinking, hoppy but flavorful instead of bitter. Coop does good work.
Many thanks to the Col. for a sample.

Nice amber color with a good bit of haze and a nice thick two-finger lingering head. Inviting scents of pineapple, nectarine, orange peel, grapefruit and violet on the nose. Smooth taste with soft to ample flavors of nectarine and soft tropical fruit on the front palate and a nice finish of soft biscuit. Light to medium feel. Overall decent IPA.

One of my favorite ipa's. It's hoptastic but somehow doesn't over power you and let's a little citrus and malt come through. I Always take a very small sip to adjust the pallet when I have one but it's my go to off the shelf ipa.

Initial impression from a can purchased as part of a sixer at a Whole Paycheck in Austin, TX:

Assertively hoppy, delivering ample hop pungency and flavour without shying away from bitterness yet still keeping it in balance with pale malt sweetness. Grapefruit, pith, floral hop flavours, sharp citrus.

Mouthfeel is a little overcarbonated but it's forgivable. Slightly coarse, wet, medium-bodied, refreshing. Not real oily. Not gushed, hot, boozy, astringent, harsh, rough, or scratchy.

Overall, it's a lovely IPA with a nice classic hop profile and aptly assertive concomitant bitterness. Could be more complex and could boast better depth of flavour, but it's well balanced and well built and I'll enjoy working my way through the sixer I got. I'll have to give COOP Ale Works more attention; this is solid.

High B- (3.50) / WORTHY

02/17/18 another can:

Not getting the pine, but there is a nice resinous flavour to it along with plenty of concomitant bitterness. Definitely a hoppy IPA in terms of bitterness, but more depth of flavour to go along with that bitterness would be nice.

From a can dated 11/27/17.

Pours a clear amber with a thick, white head that left sticky lacing.

The smell is grapefruit, orange, some pine and citrus, and malt.

The taste has bright pine notes, some citrus, and a strong malt backbone.

The mouthfeel is slightly thick and oily with a bitter finish.

Overall a really nice west coast IPA that doesn't overpower with the pine.

I just had this IPA from COOP Ale Works at a small brewpub in Oklahoma City, ABV 7.10%, IBU 85. I was impressed by the nice balance of fruitiness and bitterness of this to me unknown IPA.

Look: clear golden hue with a thin white head

Aroma: citrus, pine resin

Taste: The flavor is sweet malts and biscuits, it's fruity with pine resin, grapefruit, mango, orange, it's dank, and surprisingly good.

Feel: light to medium

Just a straightforward, easy drinking (especially for the 7.1abv) IPA. Uber smooth and refreshing. Good looking in my pint glace and leaving plenty of lace. Subtle citrus hops on the scent...a hint of pine. Taste does not blow me away, but I will tell you this...it goes down freaking easy! Unbelievably smooth! Wanted to give it higher marks on taste, but nothing out of the ordinary. I think this would be the perfect beer to introduce to a non IPA drinker to get his/her feet wet. Hops are there but won't kick your butt. Nice job COOP!

12oz canned on 9-28-17

Clear, clean, golden IPA with a 1" white head and good retention.
Sweet orange peel, lemon, sweet malt and a hint of pine. Smells great.
More orange and lightly sweet malt - hop bitterness hits midway - some pine into the finish.
Medium body, short lingering hop bitterness. All seems right....unique hop profile that I like.
Malt forward IPA (perceived by me anyway) even at 85 IBU, I would have missed that question. Very good, very enjoyable/flavorful IPA.

Thanks to RedhawkPoke for this one from NBS BIF #6. 12oz can poured into 12oz tulip. The beer was a hazy light orange color with about a half-inch of white head that had moderate retention and lacing.

There was a nice base malt scent underneath the bright hops. On the tongue, the hops were dominant, mildly sweet at the front, with a nice bite of bitterness at the back. The body was solidly medium, and had a dry finish. Drinkability was good, it would be in my rotation were it local to me. Overall, a solid, enjoyable brew, worth trying if you get the chance.
