Maybe I'm spoiled by east coast (heady) and west coast (Pliny) IPAs, but this was disappointing. Not sure why it is scoring so high on Beer Advocate. The hops have that dirty earthy taste that isn't as appealing (to me) as grassy, citrusy, or clean hop flavor. Not a horrible IPA, just not a top IPA in my opinion.

Received this beer as an extra in a trade. Not sure when this was canned. I am not getting anything in the smell/taste categories, so I am thinking this has to be extremely old given the other ratings. Drain pour. =/

Piney and bitter. Nothing too special here.

Not much of an IPA person but this was entirely drinkable.

Looks like a standard ipa, filtered and amber. Smell of light hops, not over powering. Tastes, bitter and piney, not floral, too bitter for a balanced ipa. Feels very smooth and almost too watery. Decent ipa, not outstanding imho. Would pass in the future

An IPA that fades in and lingers with bitter and citrus.

Taste Rating in Words: A marathon, you hold steady throughout and drag into the finish-line, Then you realize, the finish-line isn't the finish, you decide you'd like to continue by running home because you're a beast that can't be stopped.
