First had a couple of years ago at Alta Ski Area, Utah, poured from 12-oz. can into clear plastic beer cup, and again this year at Snowbasin Resort, Utah, on draft into clear plastic beer cup, and Solitude Mountain Resort, Utah, poured from 12-oz. can into pilsner glass. Except for that last can, which was definitely off, Bohemian's (1842) Pilsener (Czech Style) is a solid effort.

Great beer, nice pour, has a nice thick head on it. Wonderful golden amber color. Smell is nice, nothing over powering. Taste is smooth and rich with flavor, a little hoppy but nothing like an IPA, just a nice subtle hoppiness. Overall I think this is a great beer that I will for sure drink again!

I'm continually surpised by the "BA Score" given to Bohemian Brewery's beers. I've yet to find one I enjoy, and their pilsner is no exception. Like all of the other beers from Bohemian, it's weak and disappointing. The only reason I finished the few purchased was because I paid money for it. Didn't enjoy. Don't like. Like many other Bohemian beers, I won't have it again.

Had on tap at Park Stone in Farmington Utah. Fresh, Nice looking and a pleasant smell. While it may not be a spot on representation of the style I enjoyed drinking it so it gets good marks from me.

Almost clear, slightly hazy golden color with orange tint. Medium retention white fluffy head. Forms nice film on liquid surface and walls of glass. Nice level of carbonation judging from bubbles floating up from the bottom. Smells mildly each of grains, bread, and lemon. Taste is most lemon-like up front and in finish, though the latter is more rindy. Breadier in the middle as it foams up, and also in the aftertaste. Medium-bodied. Medium, fine carbonation, making it fairly smooth going down if you let it linger. Not too dry but tingling to the gums and tongue.

Clear deep golden colored beer with a small white colored head.

Smells malty with a strong noble hop scent. Spicy and grassy and a little soap smelling. Slight sour scent here.

Starts out fairly hoppy with a strong grassy hop taste. Assertive hop bite with a medium bitterness. Slightly spicy this is a beer that really wakes your taste buds up. Little bit of soapy hop taste.

Mouthfeel is on the light side.

Overall tasty, possibly the best lager in Utah.
