A fully hazy dull orange body almost darkens to a caramel hue, and is topped only by a thin little off-white ring.

Smell is dank fresh orange juice. It's like mandarin cuties, blood oranges, and even nectarines pureed up with some bobbing buds on top. There's a bit of a vegetal aroma on top of the cannabis.

Taste is PEZ with the underlying bitterness of a refreshing evergreen forest and that distinct hop cocktail of Juju, and maybe a hint of graham biscuit. The fruit really subdues the hop bite, though, and kind of suppresses it actually, so I can see why this is a popular annual treat with a certain crowd, but this further solidifies my view that regular Juju is a damn near perfect beer on its own.

The nicely full, round body has a moderate, solid hefty but non-frothy carbonation, finishing semi-dry to dry.

Super Juicy is a friendly, pedestrian version of Hop Juju--much higher tier than your typical fruit beer, but also a gateway to bigger things.

On tap at the Brew Pub

It is glowing, burnt orange color with a small cream colored head. It’s not turbid, but it is opaque. Definitely not like regular Ju Ju.

The aroma is very fruit forward and very strong. A lot of orange. It smells like marmalade.

The flavor is plenty of sour orange, but a lot more mango comes across. The fruit flavors taste authentic, but other than some bitterness on the back end, it really overpowers it.

I was glad to finally get to try this, but I don’t get the same experience as most people. It does live up to the name. I think this would appeal more to fans of the new NE Style IPAs.

This literally smells like liquefied tangerine jolly rancher upon opening the growler, didn't even need to put my nose near it. Nose was amazing with the taste completely following that of candy juicy tangerines with a medium mouth feel.

Flat out amazing. A totally different beer than regular Hop JuJu, but equally as good. The citrus steals the show, relegating the bitter to the back end. It's amazingly sweet without being cloying. Goes down way too easy.

64 ounce growler
Served in a tulip glass

This beer pours amber in color with orange highlights. A timid pour yields less than an inch of beige head that leaves little in the way of lacing.

It smells like orange juice, plain and simple.

It tastes like fresh oranges with some bitter grapefruit in the finish.

Medium mouthfeel

I finally managed to try this beer. Fat Head's does amazing things with hops. This is yet another home run by one of the best breweries in Ohio if not the world.

Pours medium orange color with a soapy head that envelopes the glass. Smell is hop forward and all things tropical. The flavor has tons of juice that takes over the hop profile mid swig. Just enough piney resinous hops to do the trick. Juice flavor comes off moreso tropical. Overall, this beer is solid, but prefer the original.

Had this on tap at the Pittsburgh location. Poured into a twelve ounce snifter. The beer was a hazy orange with a small off white head which lingered to form a lasting crown. The nose was super floral and citrusy. The taste was a great balance of hoppiness with some bitterness and a lot of citrus juciness. It was a tad on the sweet side. Overall an amazing beer.

12 oz draft pour. Orange color with very little head. Smells like a truck load of citrus fruit. Taste similar to normal juju but with a ton more citrus(mostly oranges) They took a great beer and some how made it better! Another hit by Fat Head's

32oz growler filled at Fat Head's Tap House in Middleburg Hts., Ohio

This batch is 9.5% abv. I believe the abv varies from batch to batch. Growler poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy burnt golden; small off-white head that leaves nice bubbly retention and little lacing. The aromas are great. It's all citrus. Tons of orange, tangerine and lemon. It's like fruit juice. Not much hop aroma, all fruit. The flavors follow the nose. Huge citrus bomb. It's like drinking fruit juice. The fresh orange notes shine. More lemon and lime. Some fresh pine as well. Some resin notes. The hops are there, but overshadowed by the bright citrus. It's bittersweet. It's not brutally bitter. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's slick and smooth. It's very easy to drink and is dangerously drinkable.

This is a great brew. It's like drinking fruit juice more than drinking a beer, but it's still has more than enough "beer qualities". It does't come off as artificial at all. I might personally edge regular Hop Juju, but this is still great and highly enjoyable. Once again, it's dangerously drinkable. I definitely understand why this one is highly rated. It's probably even better than my "numeric score" might indicate. Well done.

Pours a hazy coppery honey orange color. Aroma is juicy oranges and citrus. Flavor is big citrus and tropical fruit. Has a great balanced finish with a little bit of crispness at the back of the tongue. Has a great aftertaste of mandarin orange juice. Overall this is delicious and insanely drinkable.

I rarely type out a review. I had to for this gem.

Pours an orange looking color with off white head. Aroma is hoppy oranges. Sweet sticky hoppy oranges. This thing has layers of flavor. Upfront you get a nice punch of sweet orange juice, a bitter hop note, and it finishes with a tart orange rind note. The mouthfeel is very luscious. Overall one of the best beers I've ever had. And this batch of the juicy is the best I've ever had. A real treat.

Growlers poured into a Hill Farmstead tulip glass.

A: Pours a copper/orange color with 1 finger of white head the reduces fairly slowly to a thin collar.
S: The tangerines are very apparent up front and throughout. They are almost so powerful that they take away from the hops that make the 'base' beer so exceptional.
T: I find it hard to believe that this is Hop Juju with a single fruit added. The tangerines dominate so strongly that I don't get any of the base Juju. This is one case I wish I didn't read any descriptions prior to consumption. The flavor is really good, but I classify it as a lateral move from the base.
M: Carbed well, leaves a very dry aftertaste that feels like a direct cause of the tangerines.
O: The hype and reviews worked my expectations up too much, something that I certainly make a point not to let happen. While this review seems to be negative, I do want to make point that this is a great beer. Just because it's a 'variant' of a great beer, doesn't' necessarily make it better. I prefer the original, yet anyone who finds love in FL honey tangerines, will absolutely find their favorite beer in this one.

64 oz. growler poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Deep orange. Big white head. Good retention.

Smell - Lots of orange. Orange peel. Very bright. Behind it is a strong malt base. Toasty malts. Lots of resiny pine hops, too.

Taste - Bright orange. Blends a little better than it does in the aroma. Caramel and toasted malt flavor. Back end gets a little grassy.

Mouthfeel - Medium to medium heavy. Well carbonated, especially for a growler.

Overall - Excellent. The orange flavor is a nice addition.

Pours a hazy golden orange with minimal white head.

Aroma is SUPER JUICY! ;) Huge tropical fruits, straight up orange juice, pineapple, mango and still slightly dank.

Taste is completely dominated by sweet, juicy, ripe orange, tangerine and nectarine. It's like orange juice! Mango, pineapple, grapefruit, huge tropical fruit. Bit of dankness.

Medium bodied, crisp and clean with a coating mouthfeel. Hides the ABV TOO well! Easy drinking for sure.

Took an amazing DIPA and somehow made it better. Unreal!

Take regular Hop JuJu to a whole OTHER level. I've just recently had some of the "great" IPAs out there... Trillium, Heady, Ghandi, Alpine Nelson, Sculpin and others... I'd take this one any day over those. Absolutely incredible. Has some sweetness at the front, but still keeps that great bitterness at the end. (something I wish other imperial Ipas could do like Hopslam that are just too sweet).

This beer is so crushable it's scary. Not sure I've ever had a beer hide the almost 10% ABV so well. I love JuJu, but Super Juicy destroys it. If you like Citrus this beer is for you.

Another unreal hop monster from Fat Head's. A slightly sweeter, even more fruity version of the original as they added Florida tangerines to this variation. Dangerously drinkable so be careful. This could easily catch up on you. The only drawback is so few BA's will be able to try it.

Very well done Fat Head's
