Shimmering Jurassic Park amber with an airy white foam settling to a creamy white ring.

Smell is surprisingly light, with caramel, bread, buttered popcorn and wood.

Tangy and sharply bitter, flavor is pine, caramel, grapefruit and woody hops again. That really doesn't do its intensity justice. It's like a Western wildfire in your mouth.

Slick, medium bodied, with a light froth and a semi-dry chew. It starts QUITE hot, but your palate adjusts to it, or else, if you're badass enough, it adjusts to your palate.

Had a couple of pints of this at the local pub. Yellowish orange in color with very good clarity. Poured with a thin, bright white, soapy foam with low medium retention. Medium high citrus and orange hop aromas with reinous and fresh floral notes. Medium light malt aroma. Medium bodied and smooth with pleasant warmth from the middle to the end. Medium high citrus and floral hop flavors with earthy, resinous notes up front followed by assertive hop bitterness through the middle. Malt and caramel malt flavors manage to peek through on the back end. Finished with pleasant warmth and pine hop bitterness that didn't linger. Despite the assertive bitterness this was very drinkable. Still a bit of a sipper but it didn't annihilate the palate.

Poured from a growler (keg kicked while filling) into a pint glass
A: Light orange with a one-finger head
S: A bit dank, lots of tropical fruit, hints of caramel and herbs
T: Matches the nose adding a bit of citrus
M: Medium-bodied, balanced
O: I agree I slightly prefer Head Hunter / Hop JuJu but this is still a very good DIPA from a brewery that knows how to make them

It's good. But honestly head hunter is still better.

From a growler

It is a clear, deep burnt orange color with a frothy cream colored head that's average in size and retention.

It smells outstanding. Lots of dank, musty tropical fruit and really juicy. Mango, kiwi, grapefruit, pineapple, honeydew melon, and some body odor.

The flavors are much the same with some sweet tangerine mixed in there among the mango, kiwi, melon, grapefruit, and honey sweet bready malt. A very pronounced bitterness, but even keeled/consistent. Pungent and dank with a nice amount of earthiness.

I think this beer drinks more like 6-7% than 8. Not real drying even after 4 pints considering the hop levels.

This beer is real comparable to Hop Ju Ju. Both in appearance and flavor. I would almost go as far as calling it Ju Ju Light because it is easier drinking like Comumbus Bodhi. Glad I finally got to try it. Definitely one of the best ipas in Ohio.

Had on Tab at the brewery. I love aggressive IPAs and this is one. Great color and aroma. A great sipper to enjoy all the complex flavors and happiness this brew has to offer.

Ibusive

16 oz pour on tap into nonic pint

A: rich amber orange body with great clarity not much of a head.

S: caramel toffee papaya honey peaches mango grass lemon

T: lush tropical fruits papaya mango honey and a rich caramel malt finish slightly bitter and sweet.

M: Medium bodied decent carbonation light cling on the finish.

O: This is a good beer drinks a lot like a hoppy red ale because of the sweet malt caramel finish. Otherwise it's a fruit explosion quite easy drinking.
