Served in GI pint

Pour: Dark brown with a nice 3 finger milk chocolate color head. Good amount of lacing.

Smell: Dark chocolate malts, a whiff of vanilla and some faint coffee. A sweet smell on this one for sure.

Taste: Bittersweet dark chocolate, again the faint coffee and an sweetness like caramel or burnt brown sugar.

Mouthfeel: Light medium and too thin actually. Much more watery than I expected.

Overall: Nice to try this but nothing special. A straightforward semi-sweet stout that is much too thin.

Serving Type - Bottle

Appearance - Dark black/brown with a nice 2 inch creamy, foamy head and lots of lacing.

Smell - Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, lactose sugars, brown sugar, molasses. vanilla, fig and rasin. A little smoke and creamy note also.

Taste - Roasty malts, chocolate and cream are noticed at first sip. FLaovr is rather mild and light. Added sugars, cocoa and some creamy notes come out also. Not much hops is noticed, only minor flavors of rasin and plum. A little smokey and coffee flavor comes at the finish.

Mouthfeel - Rather mild, roasted malts, chocolate and molasses coats tounge, and palate. Aftertaste is mildy sweet, chocolate sweet and roasty.

Overall - Well this is rather tame and mild. The flavor is to mellow and forgetable really. Bells cream stout is 10x more flavorful and enjoyble. This is like a light version, how was this released? Its not bad but nothing special and nothing id seek out again.
