I made a special trip to Cleveland, just for kicks. If I'm honest, a visit to this place was that little glimmer in my eye, the hope that I had, I looked forward to stopping here most of all. The root of all this eagerness was really spurred by two factors: 1) I visited the Pittsburgh location and hit their bottle shop. I was impressed by the quality of the place and had a good experience. 2) Simply put, Head Hunter.
This ended up being our first stop, mostly because it worked out well geographically, but we also needed lunch.
This place is HUGE. The bar area is in the back, but thats where we entered so it seemed like the front. The bar is large and snakes around with copious seating. Numerous clusters of taps accommodate multiple bartenders and sections of the bar. Does this place get really, really busy? Back here is a small gift shop corner and glass rooms, behind which are the brewing tanks, tuns and fermenters. The place has a nice, high quality feel. Exposed brick with murals of various craft brewery logos painted about the walls. Pictures, framed collection of coasters and awards are hung about. The rest of the place goes way back into a huge room full of booths. Man, I could never see a problem getting a place to sit in this bar.
It was a Monday so the place wasn't busy, which is what I wanted actually. We slid up to the large bar and grabbed a stool. I sat right in front of their tap menu board which is a big arrangement of chalk board slabs. The bartender wasn't busy so service was quick and attentive.
Fat Head's own house brews covered the standard gamut of styles. Ranging from an imperial IPA to a Hefe. 2 of their beers, Head Hunter and Voodoo Monkey Stout were on cask. The guest taps we solid as well, but I paid little attention to them. I was there to try the house beers.
I ordered an Imperial Head Hunter, which was decent and I had a sample of their Goggle Fogger Hefe which was stellar. The menu had a lot of sandwiches. It was pub grub with some thought put in. My sandwich was excellent.
I was there on a $3 off growler fill day so my growler of Head Hunter was reasonable. Don't order one of their swing top growlers though, the glass alone is $30!!!
This was a really fun stop. I enjoyed my time here thoroughly. I'll be stopping back.

Stopped by for a few drinks when in town. A pretty busy place, with a large bar and a nicely sized seating area. The place had about 15-20 of their beers on tap with near a dozen or so guest taps. The brewery themselves had a decent swath of options, including lagers, some dark beers, a German and Belgian offering or two, and of course a few IPAs. Guest taps included some sours. Fun time, but i could se it being a little crowded for some.

This is a top 3 Brewery for me ever! The combination of quality food and beer is up there with the best. The service was great and the waiter was responsive and fun. I had a 8 beer flight in which the beers are pretty big. The quality of ipas and hoppy beers were phenomenal also had a weizenbock that was very good as well what a wonderful experience! It is a must-see!

This place is lit !!! That's the word the kids say these days. Plenty of beer, plenty of fantastic food and the service is outstanding ! My first visit did not disappoint. The Indians vs Blue Jays got rained out but I had a back up plan to visit Fat Heads. The place is huge and spacious with plenty of seating and I doubt there is ever a wait. Pull up at the bar and enjoy a full line of anything you want to drink. Plenty of guest taps and a huge selection of Fat Heads brews, and they brew all styles very well. There is no way anyone's gonna complain about the beer here. The food is phenomenal. A huge menu and you'll definitely have trouble deciding on what to eat. I would suggest browsing the photos on Google before you go that way it'll make your choosing what to eat much easier. After you enjoy this place stop by the gift shop and grab a growler to go and a t shirt. Loved it !!!

Place is huge. Service was incredibly efficient and we received our food as quickly as anywhere I've ever eaten. Taplist was extensive and contained a wide variety of styles. I can't recommend the place highly enough and will certainly be returning the next time I'm in Ohio.

The beer is the star of the show here. It’s all quality. The brewpub is big and the service is fast. You’re about 20 minutes outside of Cleveland, but it’s worth the drive.

My old friend, Faith, took me here when they first opened, which was right around the time she moved to the area. I did not go there more than once or twice again until I started working very near by in 2013. I still did not go there often since I live so far away, but my wife's out of town business guests loved it, so it turned into a go-to place for dinners after meetings, and I was often their driver (meaning I had to take it easy on the big brews). Now we are retired, but I still find excuses to drive over to Fat Head's.
They have a brew selection that cannot be faulted. On top of the exquisite brews of their own, they have excellent guest taps, all expertly served. The service is nearly always outstanding. The food is mostly hyper bar food - tasty things in huge servings. Much of their clientele are not really brew aficionados (many of the But Light persuasion) - they come for the food or drink Bumble Berry and think that makes them credible. That's fine, because it is a big, unpretentious place to just have a good time.
Highly recommended.

This brewpub was not too far from the main brewery and had a good atmosphere. The selection on tap was very good and the service was good. The only negative was that they did not have beers to go.
