What can I say, I have been a Fatheads mark for as long as I can remember. This, though, was my first trip up to the northern location (I frequent the Pittsburgh location). I have to wonder - what the hell took me so long?

Their beer list is quite impressive. About 10 of their own beers, plus a very vast and tasteful selection of guest taps.

One of the first things that impressed me was the size of the space. Nothing like its burgh counterpart. Plenty of parking - and actually seats open at the bar!

The food was awesome as usually - I tried a DLA (one of this locations exclusives) and it was spot on. Probably one of the smaller headwiches - but still more than 1 human should ever consume in a single sitting.

Up in Smoke on cask - and I in heaven here? They also had the Headhunter via cask. Both were off the charts!

Seriously, they NEED to build one of these in Pittsburgh. The original is charming and has that whole South Side thing going for it. But, seriously, free parking plenty of space, great food and beer - it would be a slam dunk. Put it in Cranberry or something - instant billionaires!

This place is huge fore a brewpub, and usually busy as well. Have a lot of their beers on tap and some nice Guest Taps as well. Really a great place to go and hang out. The menu is huge and the food is superb. You can buy Headhunter and Bumble Berry in bottles to go as well and merchandise. They will also growler fill anything they have on tap, except cask ale or one offs. They even growler fill guest taps.

Leah and I had a very good experience here. Half off their beers for happy hour (4-6). 38 beers on tap. 15 of theirs. Fairly large seating area with high ceilings. Food selection is above average. Had the brewben sandwich. Yum!

A huge brewpub with a cool history and a great venue. Huge sandwiches, outstanding beers and exceptionally friendly service. The brewery is behind the glass walls, so the beer is always fresh.

Decent beer but not excellent. Stopped on our way through Cleveland on a two week long beer-cation last summer. Just didn't stack up against the other greats.

Food is awesome. Beer selection was okay; they had lots of IPAs on tap; wished they had a lighter stout the day I went. Love this place.

Awesome beers, great sandwiches, and solid service. Had the Hop JuJu and Imperial Red, both pretty exceptional. Big variety of their own beers and guest beers on draft.

The size of the bar is pretty amazing. They have an expansive beer selection, including some local brews--some of which could even be considered rivalries--plus there's always something in a firkin. Their food combos are simple but are large, and they offer some unique takes on NE Ohio dishes. The problem with this place, and too many other breweries lately, is they want to cater to everyone and allow families--the worst part being small children, and lots of them. A bar or brewery is no place for rugrats, especially when it often consists of half the place. Sure it may seem great for business but they'd be doing good with an age limit as well. When a restaurant is this large and there's a line out the door on a weekday in the middle of winter, kick out the kids. Adults need their own place to chill.
