The August seasonal at the Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh

From the menu:
"A darker, maltier version of the Weizen beer with the same banana and clove characteristics. It’s less sweet, but has a wonderful roasted flavor."

Pours a dark orangeish gold color, with a ton of foam that perfectly laces the one liter mug. Cloudy, unfiltered wheat beer. Aroma of banana, clove, toast, Munich malts and pungent noble hops. Smells like a wheat imported from Germany. Impressive stuff from Hofbrau, the crown of the south side, nearly all of the beer served in the restaurant is made on premises here in Pittsburgh.

In the taste, toasted malt, wheat, banana, clove, herbal hops, tea and a pleasant bitterness. There is a fair malty sweetness. Good flavor of wheat, toasted barley, citrus, clove, banana and hops. Very clean flavors, and everything is of high quality. Quite nice indeed. Medium bodied brew with good carbonation. Overall, if you find yourself at the Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh in August, this is a very good beer to start off with. This Bavarian Wheat is an ideal companion to pretzels and beer cheese.

They had this one as a seasonal beer at the Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh.
It has a hazy, opaque bronze gold color, with a fantastic, creamy off white head building about three fingers high. Great lacing on the glass.
The smell announced fruity flavor, banana being dominant.
Tasting the beer those banana flavors dominate throughout the tasting. Some floral hops and clove balance this brew into a very thirst quenching and drinkable brew.
