Appearance - Hazy caramel amber body is darker than most lagers, let alone pale lagers. Small amount of visible carbonation. Lots of sediment/floaters dispersed equally throughout. Short white head with low retention.

Smell - Sweet, light and nutty. Honey. Smells quite a bit like a blush wine. Leave it to the French to make a beer like that...

Taste - Dry as hell. Has a bit of sourness to it. Tastes a whole lot like a gueuze. I almost suspect this has been mislabeled as a Euro Pale Lager. Noticeable alcohol. Tastes like an 8% ABV, even though it's only 6%.

Mouthfeel - Light and a bit astringent.

Overall Drinkability - This might be interesting and go well paired with food, due to the uncharacteristically potent dryness. As a session beer, I think it falls a bit flat. It's not an easy beer to drink. This beer was probably designed for people who'd rather be drinking wine. I'd rate it within style, but the beer itself isn't even within the style. So the rating here is pretty much just personal opinion.

A nice Alsace pale lager. Think I am tasting the Blonde but the bottle just says Fischer Tradition. A little more complex than a lager. Smooth up front, and a little bitter on the back.

I'm not sure why anyone would expect much from a beer of this style. I find it above average.

It's deep yellow, doesn't smell like much, and is a thin, malty beverage. Just right for the style. It's easy drinking and leaves an acceptable aftertaste.

Not recommended, but if it is all you have, enjoy it.

Bottle picked up in Italy
Light fizzy head, fades quick, clear watery blond colored
Nose mild skunky like lager, light malt, corn extract unfermentables, corn cereal mash
Taste more cereal grain, malt mash, little skunky note and plenty of corn syrup like adjunct unfermentables, then big herbal hop with fair bitterness, mineral, lingering grassy hop and herbal
Mouth lighter bod, little sticky finish, decent carb
