Served at room temp.

L : 80% opaque, hazy yellow body with a creamy cap leaving strings of lace.

S : Grapefruit and orange rinds, cracker malt

T : pine and cracker malt out front, with a buttery oily tropical bite with orange peel and grapefruit.

F : creamy, mouth-filling, delicious. Moderate carbonation keeps things exciting.

Overall : a solid pacific style IPA with not a lot of bells and whistles, but an exceptional mouthfeel and delivers an enjoyable experience.

Served On-Tap

A — Pours a deep orange tinged amber hue into the glass, nice clarity and a nice creamy beige head sits on top. Leaving behind some consistent enough lacing.

S — Smell is bitter and malty all at once, a big note of pine and chewy caramel malts.

T — Malt forward and slightly heavy, there is enough bitterness in there to balance things out, but not a whole lot of flavors developed.

M — Medium bodied with a lingering finish.

O — Alright overall, excessively bitter and a bit too malt focused for my tastes.

Acquired via trade from Donkster46 so a big “Thank You” goes out to him. Poured from a 22oz bottle into a mug glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large dense off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains piney hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out bready with a hearty malt character. Then some sweet flavors of caramel and citrus come in. The hops presence is strong but not over-powering and provides a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Very tasty, goes quite easily, not too filling, good kick, very good representation of style, this is a very nice IPA worth pounding down for whole evening.
