22 oz bottle. No bottling date info

Pours a hazy copper body with a white head. Good retention and lacing

Not very prominent smell overall. It's mainly floral and grassy, with citrus coming in a close 2nd. I also smell a bit of malt

Taste has a lot more citrus then the smell hinted at. A nice grapefruit bitterness. Very tasty

Crisp and even with just the right carbonation

Look... meh. Smell... meh... but the taste more then made up for these deficiencies. I would have this one again. Maybe I didn't get a fresh one (see no bottling date info) Might be editing this review in the future...

Bomber (dated 12/01/15) into a tulip.

Pretty good head to start with, but it quickly disappears. Amber color.

Aroma is hoppy, mostly grapefruit.

Taste is those hops, balanced nicely with caramel malts. It's just a bit sweet, not really sweet, but more than you'd be used to in an IPA.

The body is on the light side.

Overall, it's a really nicely executed IPA, with a good amount of bitterness, but not too much, and just the right amount of caramel. Very solid.

Floral smells, smooth on the palette, a good IPA for those that usually don't like IPAs

Bottled and poured into spiegalu. Nice head retention. SRM 13. Piney hop aroma. Nice caramel malt on the front followed by caramel pine on the back. Nicely balanced. Great IPA

This is one of the most bitter IPA's I've ever tasted. No essence of citrus or tropical fruits, as I would have expected from a west coast IPA.

I almost wonder if the waitress brought me something else by mistake...

Update: tried another can, canned on 04/06/2016 and consumed 04/22/2016...my notes above remain valid.

Shaker pint in the Seattle Taproom at SeaTac Airport. Nice deep gold color, but no head to speak of. Not much aroma, either. But nice hoppy flavor and an abiding bitterness that fades slowly. Not bad at all for rolling the dice among three local IPAs at this airport stop.

Pleasant hint of mango in the nose. Light and watery body. Handsome orangey amber with a modest foam in the Ciney snifter. Very carbonated with a club soda taste in every sip.

After a touch of malty this turns dry and fruity. It tastes like something burnt. Woody and leaf mold taste with the persistent malt. Hops are darkly leafy.

After a few sips this is just bitter and herbal. In spite of the interesting hop flavors it's borderline drinkable for my taste buds. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Haggens Market in Burlington.
