A - Th atmosphere is nice, still a little on the small size even with the recent expansion. Usually feels crowded and often hard to find a place to sit. Guess that just speaks to the quality of their beers.

Q - I love the beers these guys make!! In my book, they are neck and neck with Walking Man and Boundary Bay for the best brewery in the state...really, they are that good! I think their Trickster IPA is the best in Washington and would compare favorably to any I've had from across the country. The Wisdom Seeker is out of the world when it comes on and the Old Birdbrain is an excellent barleywine. While those three top the list, the others beers I've had there have been solid as well. Looking forward to trying their Imperial stout and some of the lbottles being released in the near future.

S - I've always had great service here...no diva bar maids who don't have time to serve you a beer. And they've always been at least somewhat knowledgeable about the beer they are serving. I've talked to the brewmaster (Beau) a couple of times and he is always friendly and willing to talk shop; he even gave me tour of the brewery once. Good people all around!

S - I believe they have 9-10 taps. 5-6 of their own and 3-4 gust taps. Seemed to have a good selection across a range of styles.

F - Pretzels, nuts, order in or bring your own. But I don't really care--I go to drink, food can be had elsewhere.

V - Seemed OK. Pint and growler prices seemed about average for what you can expect to pay these days.

Overall--At the top of my list for WA. breweries...I'd be a happy mane if the other breweries around here made beers that were half as good!

One of the highly recommended breweries in the Redmond area. The feeling is dark wood/rustic with touches of an old world pub. A good crowd for early afternoon Thursday. The beers at Black Raven are above par with a decent selection for a flight. The Coco Jones is dangerously drinkable and the Grandfather Raven is sipping excellence. I wish we could've stayed here longer for a second flight. One of the best logo's I've seen lately.

I dropped in at Black Raven the other day for a couple beers for the first time. I've had plenty of their beer but never actually visited home base, as it were; overall, I was quite pleased.

It's a sharp taproom with plenty of seating but lots of intimate corners and crannies, which is great I think. Plenty of beers on tap, too; maybe 18 in all. I had the wonderful Coco Jones porter and the unexceptionable Totem Pale. Service was decent, although the place was very busy so it was hard to get a minute to chat with the bartenders. I think I'll definitely be revisiting this place.

A nice tap house out in a business district in Redmond. The vibe is cool. We stopped by late afternoon on a Friday. Everyone was getting off work, stopping by before heading home for the weekend. The quality of what they have to offer is top notch and well-made. The service was decent, not bad. The only complaint would be the selection, I was hoping for more DIPAs or imperials, but this time of the year is probably not the right time to expect them.

Overall - A recommended place to sit down and have good beer.

Love the Black Raven Brewing Company. The beers are excellent and the service is always awesome. Whoever is working behind the bar, usually two people at the same time, are always extremely friendly and very helpful with any beer related questions.

The taproom itself is in kind of an industrialized location, not uncommon to breweries, so the area isn't exactly aestically pleasing, but who cares, right? The taproom itself is very communal and comfortable and there are free pretzels on every table. They do not serve food, but in the summer months at least there are food trucks parked right outside.

So all together this is a great place to come and grab a beer or two

Nice little place. Had half a dozen regulars on tap and 4 specials. The Triple IPA was very nice and the BA RIS was very smooth. There was a wood fired pizza truck parked in the parking lot which was nice. Place is small with a few tables outside. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Seemed like most of the people there were Microsoft employees. If your are in Redmond area, definitely worth a stop.
