Hazy straw color with a low white head throughout. Melony fruit aroma and spicy tones (additionally aroma is a bit sweetish). Spicy and gingery flavor with nice citrusy lemony) tones. Light bodied (leans medium) and creamy !

Lovely blond beer, with a slice of lemon it is perfect on a warm day in Amsterdam.

This Witbier pours a very hazy yellow and forms a white, 1 inch head that quickly settles into a thin white film. The carbonation is almost not perceptible. The nose has hints of yeast and spice, but is also weak. No spice or malt on the palate, and it is short. I sense some sour notes and the body is very light and thin. Given other reviews, I will have to get another bottling (this one is 5184528Y0941), however, if this is what it has to give, I will not be back!

At first sight, this beer has the odds against itself:
1. Mass produced by Heineken
2. Among the ingredients are "natural aroma's"...please just tell me what they are...
3. It looks like a pilsener: it lacks murkiness and foam.
The smell and taste make up for it though. Lots of cloves and banana in the smell, tasty spiciness in the taste and a fulfilling aftertaste with the clove coming back in. One negative side note is the fact that it's quite stingy on the tongue. You should probably use orange peel and coriander instead of "natural aroma's". Still a pretty good witbier though..

Decent Witbier - nothing mind-blowing but well-balanced and refreshing.
