Unfiltered so hazy when poured with a very light yellowish colour. Lively carbonation and pillowy white head with pleasing wafts of the tropical fruits common in the hops used. it as a thinnish mouthfeel but is pleasantly tart with a nice bittersweet finish. Would go back for more.

Pours sunny yellow with thin white head. Aroma is the best part of this beer- juicy tropical fruit galore. You get pineapple, mango, peach, grapefruit, mandarin. Combined with a fresh, citrus hoppy aroma as well. Taste is lovely and light, Sweet refreshing finish with light bitterness, lively carbonation.

This is a nice solid offering from Stone & Wood. The beer poured a clear yellow with white head that left some lace. The scent had mild citrus lemon. The taste was slightly bitter through out the drink but had a touch of citrus and finished clean. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall this is a solid beer.

This 330ml bottle was dated best before 7 October 2015 and was poured into a pint glass.

A: The beer poured a hazy pale yellow with a one finger big bubble head that disappears fairly quickly.
S: Excellent aromas! Very tropical fruit forward especially mango, pineapple, orange, peach and apricot.
T: Like the nose, the taste is of tropical fruits. Mainly mango and peach with a slight bitter lemon finish.
M: Light bodied, crisp, medium carbonation, refreshing.
O: This was a good beer, very easy to drink and great for a hot summers day.

Poured from a half litre bottle into a wine glass.

Cloudy milky yellow with light head and heavy effervescence.
It smells distantly of tropical fruit. Pretty muted.
Light and lightly sour. Tart lemon and dryish yeast.
Surprising flavors. I like it. It's not exceptional, but it's great drinking. Good summer beer.

Quite simply, far too much sulphur. And whilst not a bad beer, not an American Pale Ale as listed here, so either incorrectly categorized or not to style. Some Inconsistency between brews, especially between kegs and bottles

Format: a solid brown 330mL bottle with a decent label.

Appearance: pale gold in colour with a light haze, some fine carbonation visible. A small white head hangs about at a half-finger. Looks pretty darn good.

Aroma: a very crisp and clean aroma of tropical fruits - I can pick passionfruit, pineapple and some stone fruits - with a floral note behind. Smells very tasty and very refreshing.

Taste: a bit softer here than on the nose, but definitely the same profile dominated by tropical fruits with a touch of floral and some sweet malts here also.

Aftertaste: still some fruits here with a touch of bitterness from the hops. Pretty much spot-on.

Mouth feel: moderate in body with a spritely carbonation that brings those flavours through nicely. A little smooth, and certainly very drinkable.

Overall: a very nice example of the American Pale Ale style. The tropical fruits up front make for a literally and figuratively pleasant shift from the usual citrus and pine. At AU$70 a case I would say this one is definitely worth it.
