Bottle in trade from Solidfunk, thanks for the opportunity!
Bottle straight out of the fridge had huge carbonation. Murky deep yellow color with a huge frothy off white head that eventually recedes. Lemony tart earthy spicy hoppy nose. Lemon and orange peel in the flavor with earthy spicy resinous to counter. Pretty tasty farmhouse ale.

On tap. Clear amber color with creamy, off-white head. Aroma is very floral with a quite clean yeast profile, also slightly malty. Taste is also really floral, slightly malty at first but gets more bitter and earthy on the finish. Light body with medium carbonation and slick mouthfeel. A really clean and floral saison, very easy to drink.

Bought this in November, 2015. It ended up being my last beer of 2015 and my first beer of 2016. Hoppy new year!
This beer looks amazing. It pours a warm, almost glowing golden-orange amber with a tremendous cap of foam. Wonderful aroma, like an intense dried orange peel and cracked pepper note, along with some dried hay and a squeeze of tangerine. It's a tasty brew, with a drying orange and straw character and a long lasting finish. Stunningly delicious.

Serving Type: Bottle
Consumed: 8.15.15

A: 4.5 Pours slightly hazy reddish gold with a large off-white head. Good retention.

S: 4.25 Smells like a pretty standard saison with a bit more hops and mild funk. Starts with some sweet Belgian yeast and esters, while hops add a bit of tropical fruit and grapefruit.

T: 4 Hops don't deliver as strongly on the palate; more yeast and esters take over introducing some spice as well. Sweetness is countered by hop bitterness that leaves a dry finish.

M: 4.25 Nice body and carbonation. The dry finish is also very good.

O: 4 This is a very nice saison with some interesting elements on the nose. Not super complex, but very drinkable and tasty.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but was just released into the state last month. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep orange/amber color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a dense cap that lasts the whole glass. Nice dense soapy lacing lings around the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Incredible appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, melon, pear, apple, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, melon, pear, apple, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of peppery yeast spiciness and herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, melon, pear, apple, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very dry finish from carbonation. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately sticky, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent hoppy saison style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Growler from ABV.

A beautiful light yellow with a dense, white head that lasts a while leaving spidery lacing, this looks fabulous. The nose is bright, hoppy, grainy and mildly yeasty. Citrus (kaffir lime leaf), a little culantro-like hop character. Honey, floral hops, lightly toasted grain, a little bread and a beautiful yeast character are present. The palate opens bright, resplendent, grainy with honey, mild mint, herbal and lime like hop character. The mid palate has honey, earth, a little grain, some spice - grains of paradise and a little allspice? - before a wonderful, drying finish, bitter, creamy and refreshing. A beautiful beer.
