Big thanks to boralyl for sending this out my way. Served in a tumbler. Clear golden-peach color. The nose is slightly gin-like with some floral and earthy nights. The flavor is a bit spicy with floral notes. Touch of pepper. Very light and crisp. Good brew.

Bottle #41/65. Thanks to Matt for sharing this one. Served in a taster pint glass.
A - White foam settles to a solid cap, leaving a few splotches of lace behind. Hazed golden orange body.
S - Tons of gin presence, with botanical notes of juniper, herbs, and berries. There's a touch of lemony lactic sourness, and only hints of the base Saison.
T - The taste has a bit more of the base Saison, with grain, farmhouse yeast, and a bit of stone fruit malt. There's also more funk here mixing with the light lactic acidity and botanical gin flavors.
M - Fairly light in body, with nice spritz, and a very dry and tannic texture. No alcohol presence, although one wouldn't expect any at only 4.5%.
D - A really excellent beer and another successful gin barrel example. I don't even really like gin and I thought this worked really well. I would happily drink this again, and I'm glad they're making this one semi-regularly.

Thanks for sharing, Bobby.
A: This one pours a fairly clear golden color with a tall white head.
S: Smells a lot like gin. Tons of juniper berries with a strong overall herbal aroma. There is a touch of green apple skins, lemon peel, some pepper, and pale malts which give just a very light sweetness.
T: As with the aroma, there is a very strong gin character. Plenty or herbal and floral notes with a touch of oak. A bit of a lemon and lime thing going on with a subtle tartness. Not much malt flavor/sweetness to it.
M: Medium bodied with a medium to high level of carbonation.
O: You definitely have to enjoy the juniper type character that this beer has, but if you do, this is a winner.

Bottle shared at Woodshop Classix by Bobby, thanks! Bottle # 9/65.
A: Hazy orange with a frothy fleeting head.
S: Pronounced floral notes, redolent of rose, with strong gin characteristics. Juniper blends with orange, apple, and peach. Malt is grainy, and there's a light pepper note.
T: The flavor is also very floral with a light herbal quality. Gin manifests itself in the form of juniper. Fruit notes are vibrant, reminiscent of orange, lemon, peach, and grapefruit. The finish has a light pepper-like spiciness.
M: Medium in body with moderate carbonation.
Overall: An interesting beer that also happens to be pretty good, though not highly drinkable. Definitely worth trying.

Bottle bought at the tasting room for $15. Split the 750ml with my wife TulipSnifter in our pair of Duvel tulips. Bottle #30/65.
A: Slightly murky passion fruit with minimal lacing. After the three finger snow white head recedes, a wispy cap with a thick glass ring remain throughout my time with it. 4/5
S: A good dose of dirty citrus hits immediately. The spice of the base Four really comes through well. A splash of funkiness differs from the cleaner aroma of the Four though. Nothing hides here. A very pungent and strong aroma. 4/5
T: Four is a semi-sour saison itself. Tossed in a barrel for a few months, its lower pH citrus comes to play even more. The wood is definitely a supporting actor and contributes a damp muskiness. The flowers? Maybe not identifiable as a brewing ingredient, but the springtime freshness of the whole bouquet is appreciated. A lot of flavor for such a "small beer". 4/5
M: Sip, swallow, palate dry, repeat. A light, crisp drink that pairs best with the warming season. 4.5/5
O: Not sure if the $15 price tag is justified, but it's a damn good beer none the less. Another winning sour from the best barrel aged wild beer maker in town. 4/5

12oz pour at the tasting room.
Pours a slight hazy golden yellow with a fair white head.
The aroma is of peppery, lemony saison yeast, with quite a bit of floral notes. A bit of a funky finish as well.
The taste is a bit more balanced out then the nose, but follows the same profile of peppery, lemony yeast, along with nice floral notes and a tart dry finish.
The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with good medium carbonation.
I am glad I had the opportunity to try this beer, quite refreshing and tart. Despite the low ABV I could see this aging quite gracefully for about a year or so.
