Bottle 15 of 113. Thank you, Brian.

A slow gusher, the first pour of this beer is a mostly clear orange yellow with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and really nice lacing. The nose is gorgeous. The adjuncts pair beautifully with the base saison. The citrus character is closer to that of a citron, the rose is delicate and deep, floral and fresh, the Calendula adds an earthiness and the yarrow? well, it does something, I guess. A clean blend of citric and lactic acid, a backbone on which the nose grows, is bright and refreshing. Honey, grain, a blend of fruit(pineapple, peach, ripe grape) are also present. Rather magnificent IMO.

The palate opens with a blend of cleaning, quenching lactic acid and flavorful citrus. Bright, floral, refreshing, there's a blend of fruit (orange, peach, grape, a touch of pineapple?), floral characteristics. The rose character is really delicate and a touch earthy, fleeting with the acidity that washes it away. The yarrow and calendula add an additional layer of floral depth to the palate, a little earthy, a little juicy and really refreshing. The botanicals make me think of a gin without juniper, if that makes sense. A blend of orange blossom honey, a wheaty, grainy huskiness and what I swear tastes like oats appear mid palate. Sourness is moderate and appropriate. Drying on the finish, herbal, floral and a clean lactic sourness linger. Light in body with moderate carbonation, this is astounding stuff.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bottle #19 of 113.

"Four with fresh yarrow, calendula, rose and citrus" per the label.

Appearance - Very pale yellow and hazy. Small white head. Thin collar.

Smell - Herbal and citrusy. Pale malt. Yeasty.

Taste - Pale malt with a lemony citrus tang. Very light. Herbal flavor is still there, but less strong. The flavor isn't as interesting as the nose.

Mouthfeel - Light with high carbonation. Drinkable but very light.

Overall - It's just too light. A little watery.
