Brown 500ml bottle containing a 'bottle conditioned' bitter. It was poured carefully into a vase shaped pint glass.

The colour is a red/amber colour, clear and fairly bright. A white head tried to sit on top, but what was there at the start didn't stay long and nothing was seen of the head after 50 seconds. It just looked flat, it wasn't but it looked like it was.

Smells half way between a coke and a vimto, not too beery, some flowery hops might have tried to break through, but very little did.

The actual flavours were fine, hoppy, yeasty and beery in general. The beer was well balanced and easy to drink, in short, an ideal session bitter. If I ever have another, I'll take it in a tankard so I can't see the head isn't there!
