Bottled on Dec. 2017 notched on label
12 oz. bottle poured into a tumbler pint glass

Look- Clear. Deep reddish amber with 1/2 finger of off white fizzy head and some thin lacing. Head lasted less than two minutes.
Smell- Very light floral and woody aroma.
Taste- Clean and mildly bitter. Bready and not sweet. Finishes a little bitter.
Feel- Thin bodied with a little bit of bite from the carbonation.
Overall- Not a bad Red Ale. A safe choice but a little mundane. It would probably go well with steak and a baked potato. This beer reminds me of background music, It's good and serves a purpose but it isn't memorable.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Overall: A headless wonder that's best described as dead. With so many great amber options, there's no need to return to this one.

Virtually headless, no lacing, no bubbles. Amber, tea-like color. Lots of little particles suspended throughout.
Nearly aromaless. Slight caramel malty smell.
A sleepy flavor profile far from robust. Some mild citrusy, grassy notes. A few fungal/woody flavors, followed by a bready finish.
Moderate to low carbonation, medium-light body.

Malty, caramel medium and burnt, herbal hopping with floral and woody notes. Pretty middle of the pack amber ale. I expected more from Evolution given the high quality of their other beers.

Appearance: Pours a very deep red color.

Overall: Aroma is caramel and woody. The taste contains citrus, bready malts, grassy hops, and light toffee. This is a very nice beer with a lot taste.
