Clear coffee aroma with a prominent roast aroma. Seems more like prepared coffee than coffee beans.
Very black and dark tan head.
Flavor is more complex than aroma. Seems to have a cream or vanilla additional taste. Drying but only mildly so, for style. Some nice additional malt flavor with a hint of sweetness, and grain. Nice to have something other than just a coffee bomb. Bitterness on the finish grow as it warms and moves past most pleasurable.
Very nice soft feel. Enhanced by the well done carbonation.
I like this. Good level of alcohol - at a level that I think works well.

A solid stout. Pours a dense brown color with a medium size dark tan head. Average retention and good lacing..

Nice aroma, roasted malt, strong coffee smell. Taste is more of the same. Roasted malt lots of coffee and a little bittersweet chocolate.

Mouthfeel is rich enough for the style, but since there is such a big flavor, you might be expecting a big rich Double Stout presence. Nice and smooth too. Abv not too high, very drinkable.

Would drink this one again

Tons of coffee flavor! Not overly carbonated or overly boozy (both of which are good things). I definitely plan to have this again.

Taste is of deep coffee grounds, roasted malt, and slight bitter hops. Super roasty, this is a coffee beer for coffee lovers. One to try, but for me I have had more balanced beers in the style.

12 oz bottle, poured into a pint glass

Appearance: Pours a beautiful, completely opaque, pitch-black color with a quarter of a finger of caramel-colored head that quickly dissolved into a thin halo of foam that gripped the sides of the glass.

Aroma: Very aromatic. Lots of coffee and roasted malt. Some subtle lactose and caramel.

Taste: Again, lots of coffee up front, including some subtle coffee bitterness, followed by lots of roasted malt, some brown sugar-like sweetness.

Mouthfeel: Chewy, with a touch of carbonation. With an ABV of 6.7%, there is no presence of alcohol on the palate.

Overall: Not bad. Nice flavors of malt and coffee with some good sweetness, but just a tad too much of the coffee bitterness for me to really, really like it.
