From the neck of the bottle, in very large yellow dotted letters: "BOTTLED ON 08/25/22 22-171-173"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a golden-brown color, appearing much like amber. It has pretty good clarity with a touch of opalescence. It has a short creamy white head that quickly fades to a ring in the glass. No lacing.
Aroma: Some clove comes through with a potpourri scent. There is a bit of what smells like cinnamon that rests just under the clove.
Taste: Up front there is some cinnamon with a touch of clove. Towards the middle of the palate it picks up a bit of an apple flavor. The finish is a bit like cinnamon applesauce. An overall cidery character which is a bit interesting and also odd.
Mouthfeel: The body feels light and it moves across the palate quickly. The somewhat thin body seems to amplify the spice flavor a bit. Fairly easy to drink.
Overall: As a whole it is a pretty good beer. The label on the bottle says "BELGIAN STYLE PUMPKIN ALE" but there isn't really any Belgian character unless possibly some of the clove or apple is coming from the yeast. This could pass as a standard Pumpkin Ale without the Belgian tag. The label doesn't seem to indicate any ingredients but it does taste ans smell spiced. The spice character is alright. It leans heavily on clove and some cinnamon acts as a backdrop. It wouldn't be the first Pumpkin Beer I pick up but I could drink it again. It's worth recommending a single pour or bottle but I wouldn't promote it to Belgian beer lovers; I would to standard Pumpkin Ale drinkers.

Look: It pours rustic orange with an off white head. Head retention is average.
Smell: It has strong pumpkin spices up front which include cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice. There is a low level of pumpkin with a low level of caramel.
Taste: The spicy flavors are strong up front with ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice in that order. There is low pumpkin and very low caramel.
Feel: It has a medium body.
Overall, the ginger is a bit stronger than I would like with a little bit of harshness in the finish.

(12 oz bottle, bottled on 09/01/20; purchased single off shelf... poured into a fat tulip)
L: tawny-colored liquid with quite a bit of haze; off-white foam sizzles away upon pour, settling into steady, spitty collar
S: dried spice blend?; some nutmeg and (but more) clove, but the spices may have as much character from the Belgian yeast; bold nutty undertones... adjustments, enhancements, tweaks and tugs in order
T: an amber (lightly-caramelized) Belgian (or English?) pale ale with pumpkin spice (Palm and Pumking?)... banana, clove, caramel cream... bit of a cinnamon spice in the aftertaste, supplanting hop bitterness in attack... halfway through, and a bit of sugar cookie (snickerdoodle?) emerges in the aft... clove and ginger snap cookie dough... no definition; a soup of flavors, but bulbous and bold
F: subtle sizzle, choked silky wash... sedate spicy heat builds as it goes... mild film on the non-tongue portions of the palate... bland, serviceable, not-quite ignorable
O: relatively full-flavored, once it coats the palate, but lacking depth, breadth; tastes more or less like a muddy homebrew execution... despite their recommendations, I'd probably only pair this with the fats (cheese) and desserts... on the fence regarding a revisit; 6-pack, no (1694)

On tap at Racer's Cafe in Baltimore.
It's a pumpkin beer that was sampled in late November, so it may have been getting on a wee bit. Nothing that should render it un-reviewable, though.
The pour is a clear, filtered brown. The aroma is nutmeg-forward, much more spicy than sweet. It's firm and pleasant--I'm tired of the recent trend of frosting-flavored pumpkin ales.
The flavor matches the aroma: spicy and pretty well balanced, but nothing all that special going on to really distinguish it from dozens of other good, spiced pumpkin ales. Cloves and nutmeg dominate with biscuity malt on the finish.

Just another boring pumpkin beer. I was hoping for something a little different based on the packaging and description. Unfortunately this was just some spices in a weak amber beer. I smell cloves and taste is thin and spiced. Disappointing Halloween treat

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass.
L---A proper, for the style, burnt amber color. Not quite fully clear. Medium tan head with no retention whatsoever. Lacing so minimal, it's not worth describing.
S---Pumpkin pie spices dominate. Nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and allspice are all evident.
T---One trick pony. All pumpkin pie spices all the time. Same as the nose.
F---Medium bodied with not much carbonation. A slight feel of alcohol is present.
O---A middling pumpkin beer that has already been made by a hundred other brewers. Nothing special to see here, move along.

Poured from a bottle into a snifter glass, resulting in maybe a finger of foamy head that faded quickly. Color is a golden orange, fairly clear, with plenty of carbonation evident. Smells a bit of pumpkin and fruity/floral, not experienced with Belgians so maybe that's where this comes from. Fairly light mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Taste is fruity/floral with the pumpkin as kind of a background/base. A fairly refreshing pumpkin beer that is different from other ales.

12oz bottle poured into a snifter
A- pours a deep amber color with a ruby hue, creamy white head reduces to a thin film floating on top
S- smells of spicy Belgian yeast, clove & banana. Undertones of cinnamon and allspice as well as caramel & sweet malt
T- peppery and spicy yeast up front gives notes of clove and banana, as well as some musty notes. Mid-palate gives notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish gives more peppery yeast in a semi dry finish, lingers of clove
M- medium body and carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a creamy finish
O- the Belgian style ale works well with the pumpkin pie spice, a nice sipper
