(2.90) A: Pale lemon pour produces a sudsy, dull white head of 2+ fingers that was very active on the surface with loud crackling and popping audibles that quickly reduced the once proud standing head to a whispy, skim layering of its prior self. Inside a fine misty carbonation. Nothing that would seem appealing as a summer drink.

(3.00) S: The nose was limited to some tart lemonade, wheat and orange of very low caliber levels.

(3.15) T: Flavor was tart, dry orange peel and wheat with some dry grapefruit bitterness and straw. Fairly typical per style, except that this flavor was very flat line with no bright points of interest. Things finished off with a touch of wet lemon quench and flowery hops.

(3.20) M: Ok carbonation, not really crisp or sharp, just noticeable, with a lightly creamy texture.

(3.10) O: a tart summer drink that is rather bland with marginable drinkability if nothing else was available. Single consumption factor for me with a low to mid C at best.

The pour was a nice Goldwyn straw color with white head that dissipated quickly. The taste was crisp and light and the hops were definitely present. It was a touch on the bitter side with the hops and citrusy flavors. The overall taste was still very good! This is a good summer beer and one I would like to try again on a hot day down the shore.

An average sweet, light, wheaty beer, like a light pilsner. Tastes like several other beach beers. Pours light yellow with decent carbonation. Not bad, but nothing I will likely seek out again.

I know that I am supposed to be divesting myself of bottles, not buying new ones, but I needed to round out a mixed six and I had never had it before.

My aggro pour produced two fingers of fizzy, off-white head with limited retention, quickly falling to wisps. Color was a cloudy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose had an interesting lemon-pineapple citrusiness. Mouthfeel was somewhat thin, not quite watery. The taste was oddly bitter, slightly sour, kind of citrus fruity. Finish was sort of tart and bitter, still citrusy, but just not quite right, especially for the style. I would have said that it was old, but I just bought it today. The numbers on the bottle read: "1413076142254" so I may follow up to see if there was a problem with the batch.
