Got a growler of this as a gift. The Evo website says that this will be barrel aged and re-released. This beer mirrors a tripel in every way except the abv. It pours e deep gold with a head that builds quick and also dissipates quickly.
The smell is nothing but sweet. It smells like tripel should.
Taste is of sweet pears. Overall a really good beer and my favorite from Evo.

A nice and bready Belgian treat. Pours light tan with minimal head. Not as over-hopped as some I have had in the style. I could definitely do a couple of these.

I enjoyed this on tap at the public house in Salisbury MD, enjoyed chilled in a shaker pint.

The color is a deep amber with mild hazed thin white cap with tight bead. Smell has a fruity yeast ester wit mild banana and light malt aroma but nice pepper accent with gentle bready nose. The feel is lightly sweet with a nice fruity tinge of pear like and mild banana sweetness with a yeasty spice and dry finish with moderately carbonated and gentle alcohol on the palate

The taste is very good with mild tropical flavor and spice from the yeast with a light malt taste and slightly sweet presence with more pear flavor and mild pepper and banana elements from the yeast with a slight toasted taste and light tinge of alcohol in the mostly dry finish. Overall a very nice Belgian Pale ale -well brewed and drinkable with noticeable belgian yeast qualities
