I normally only read, not write, reviews so this will be amateurish but this beer deserves to have more than one review .
It poured a medium amber with a very generous head when poured straight down the middle in a Samuel Adams glass. The head held for a good bit then left nice lacing. (this was a bottle; sounds like the cask version did not hold as well based on the other review) The aroma and taste has the citrusy hoppy bite that is characteristic of American IPA's. The hoppiness holds from start to finish with just enough malt to balance resulting in a refreshing drink. I should note that I'm an American IPA fan and this is up there with my favorites like Weyerbacher Double Simcoe and Founders AllDay IPA but manages to pleasantly put the ABV between the two. The BA Brothers need to find this.

First had: cask at Pinocchio's, Media, PA

Clearish amber pour, fairly effervescent, with a small cap of frothy white head that receded to a ringlet and left some nice lacing on the glass. Nice aroma of fresh hops, citrus, pine, only a subtle sugary malt sensation detected. As in the nose, the taste was dominated by hops, nice and fresh, lemon and orange zest, pine, slightly herbal, fresh grass, fruity and bitter, and just generally tasty-hoppy, with a solid malt backbone giving a bit of balance. Light-medium body, crisp and fresh, and easily drinkable. Overall, a solid, enjoyable version of an otherwise solid, enjoyable IPA.
