A: Orange-yellow hues with good lacing and a foam head that vanishes quickly. I'm digging the bottle artwork. With so many fish in the sea, these guys are unlikely to be guilty label infringement in the future.

S: Bubble gum, fruit, fresh squeezed hops. After a few more sniffs i'm getting lemon rind.

T: Clean, crisp bittering hops, I am loving this beer.

M: The alcohol is very well hidden behind the well maintained balance of forward hops with slightly malty backbone.

O: Ballast Point where have you been all my life? I just discovered these guys this past year after hearing a lot of chatter about Sculpin IPA. These guys don't make bad beers. Definitely would recommend anything these guys brew.

Pours a lighter amber with a short-lived creamy white head leaving small soapy lacing. The aroma is mild, grapefruit citrus and floral. The taste is similar but a little bit more robust with a hit of pine added to the mix and just a hint of malt. The body is thinner, easy drinking, with a just a slightly bitter bite on the finish.

A good and strong IPA— generously hoppy, with a dry and slightly bitter finish. Good stuff.

Right, so this is delicious. Sculpin is basically perfect in my eyes and this isn't far behind.

2/23/15 (12oz bottle, Long Beach) Amber/Orange color; nose more fruity than hoppy; hops become more present throughout tasting and the alcohol reveals itself towards the end (4.25)

12/24/15 (22oz bomber, Cotati) This time around it wasn't nearly as enjoyable. The alcohol level really gets in the way of the flavors.
