Happy to find this one on tap at the Birdsall House in Peekskill, NY

Pours black, with a creamy mocha head, leaving thick sheeting initially, then a nice scattered field of the fine stuff.

Dusty chocolate, and lite raisins in the nose. This is a well crafted OMS, showing off more chocolate, dark fruits, roasted grains, with a soft and subtle hop presence drying things out. Cookie dough malts also in the mix. On the lighter side bodywise.

Thoroughly delicious, order it if you see it

I tried this at the Ballast Point location in downtown Chicago. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that left some lace. The scent had hints of roast and chocolate. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with mocha flare. The mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it was a solid beer.

Had on tap. Found this to be a battle of sips. First the good: the nitro enhanced the already creamy and robust body, lending itself nicely to the roasted coffee and oats. The not so good was the metallic aftertaste on some sips. Really took away from the nice roasted malt, and instead made malt taste like nickel. Overall ok
