Solid, smooth and creamy, but nothing too crazy. A bit thin with a decent flavor profile, but I much prefer Commodore even if that is a bit apples to oranges

this is sexy beer, so much awesomeness here, this is sort of the most true nitro session stout there is, and it looks darling in the glass. well over an inch of tan mocha creamed tea foam, with a brown ale looking body. super light in shade for the style, but it smells the part. tons of dark chocolate and milk chocolate, less dark barley than a lot of these, but some other cool deep notes here like semisweet chips and oatmeal. the oats in the malt is not very subtle. not only does it make a huge impact in terms of feel and richness there, but it also has some flavor, a little sweet and very very breakfast based, like a warm and starchy bowl of farm. very nice. i think its a little light overall though for what it claims to be, but its very well drinkable and a little something different as the style goes. it seems like the more beers these guys chuck out there into the market, the more misses there are going to be, at least thats the case with most other operations, but ballast point continues to proliferate unabated in colorado, and all of the beer is fantastic. i keep waiting for a miss, and it never comes. this is not the industry standard in the style, but it awfully yummy...

Draft from Imbibe. Quite disappointed, expected much more from BP. A very underwhelming oatmeal stout, thin appearance and finish. OK nose, but not much behind it. 1 and done 4 me.
