MEK pours an apple juice color - I would have liked more blush or orange; and has a 2 finger head of fuzzy proportions. Mostly transparent.

Aroma is beautiful with grapefruit and mango notes so loud it's almost tearjerking.

Flavor is much of the same with a 2D quality and an excellent finish of bread. The bread/yeast really wins out here and it keeps me coming back for more. It tastes like a grapefruit jellybean.

Feel is creamy and kind of sandy, not really a strong point, leaves a bit of a varnish on the palate with some residual carbonation and hard water.

Overall, MEK is probably something I'll be buying in a six pack very soon. So refreshing, so delicious.

This one "jumped the shark" for me. Mango just did not work. Overall tasted like watered down candy infused hodge-podge that just did not belong together. One of my favorite brewers but you can retire this one.

From the can stamped 16137 on the bottom. Sampled on July 1, 2016.

A golden color is way it pours under a moderate white head that dissolves.

Big aroma of mango fruit on the nose with a feint toasted bread note behind it all.

Light body.

The mango and citrus flavors become the beer and anything else gets buried away. Maybe some toasted bread in there and mild dry finish. But way too fruity for my liking.

Exceptional beer for this low an abv. Pours a golden amber color. A hard pour will give you a huge frothy white head with good retention. Minimal lacing. Aroma is dry biscuity malt, piney hops and a subtle, slightly sweet mango presence. Taste is more or the same. The malt dominates as the forward presence, then some balancing bitterness and finally the mango flavor. Mouthfeel is crisp, with some bitterness, a bit light but not watery and impressive for such a low abv beer. Well worth a try as a summertime beer.
