Our Unfiltered Sculpin IPA packs extra hops into every sip, enhancing the classic Sculpin notes of fresh apricot, peach, mango and lemon with a slight haze and less bitterness. Freshness is key to every beer, but especially true for this extra-hopped IPA—store cold and drink soon.

12 oz. Bottle
Poured into a tulip a very nice hazy dark golden orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice one-finger thick/creamy off-white head, which leaves some very nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, with a slight malt note, really nice citrusy complex, apricot, slight pineyness. The taste is very nice, hoppy, slightly malty, with some really nice citrus (orange, mango, peach, lemon), apricot, some pineyess. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a really nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Glad to see it around here.

Hazy golden. Big, white head. Tropical fruits, pine, and some malt in aroma. Strong, hoppy bitterness in taste. Notes of tropical fruits

Bottle from Boise Co-op. Medium golden and hazy, small foamy head. Aroma is sharp citrus with hints of hops. Taste brings more citrus, sharp bitter bite. About as expected, unfiltered process adds a bit more heft to the body.

Had at the Long Beach Brewery. Enjoyed it, maybe even more so than the original. I feel as though the fruit notes come through more than the original.
