Undated bottle into pint glass. Pours a hazy amber with a nice off-white head. Initial impression is pine, caramel, and a hint of tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish is somewhat dry and leaves a lingering bitterness. Since Ballast Point doesn't date their product, there is no way to tell if this is 6 days old or 6 months old. I'm leaning toward the 6 months old because of the subdued flavors.
I've tried Sculpin, Grapefruit Sculpin, and now Unfiltered Sculpin, and I prefer the original.

12oz bottle served in a tulip. I can't find a date on it. I bought it at the brewery a couple weeks ago, and brought it home in a suitcase.

Pours moderately hazy, amber in color, medium head, medium carbonation. Smell is lush, fruity and juicy, very nice.

Taste is similar, but with a very nice very strong piney bitterness -- sweet, but not too sweet.

Mouthfeel is dry but thick. This is a nice beer.

A 12 fl. oz. bottle with a Julian bottled on date of 17321, meaning that it was bottled on 17th November 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.

Appearance: A lightly hazy bright copper orange colour with quite a bit of floaties slowly settling at the bottom of the glass. There was also a two finger off white head that had great retention and left nice lacing.

Aroma: Tropical fruit mango, pineapple and apricot at the start followed closely by grapefruit and light pine.

Taste: Sweet-ish pineapple, orange and apricot followed by bitter grapefruit zest, citrus rind, pine and a light touch of biscuit at the end.

Mouthfeel: Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: Nice and easy to drink and an interesting twist on the original. However, I definitely prefer the original and grapefruit version over this. Still worth a try though.

Just plain good as all Sculpin varieties go! This is what I crave when I want a kickass IPA...not too bitter and plenty of fruit flavor. Well balanced all the way thru
