Our Sea Rose tart cherry wheat ale is a fresh take on fruit beers. Originally conceived during an employee-led R&D brew, it’s one of our most imaginative recipes yet. The American wheat style is light and clean, while fresh cherry juice adds a soft coral color and fruity nose that gives way to a dry, slightly tart finish. It’s approachable, yet unexpected—exactly what we love to brew.

12oz. can: This one pours an almost clear, golden color. A small white head that doesn't linger long or leave any lacing. Lighter nose. Some tart cherry and wheat. The taste is OK. A tough lighter body, some tart cherry and wheat flavors. A good beer on a hot day.

Had on tap. So I would think this would be good on a hot summer day, but I was wrong. The wheat get an unfortunate souring from the cherry, and that is the main flavor. Feels unbalanced and unnecessarily bitter and sweet for the style. So many better cherry wheat beers out there

Would assume by the packaging that this would be more of a tart/sour but does not deliver. Not a strong cherry flavor at all and a very mild fruit smell. A good light summer beer. Will not be going out of my way to purchase again but wouldn't scoff off a free one

This isn't a bad wheat beer and the fruit is very pleasant. It doesn't have that over the top sugariness some fruited beers can have. The only problem is that it really doesn't stand out. It's drinkable and I'd happily drink it again if offered, but I'm not spending money on it.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a golden brown color and a cloudy consistency. There was a 3/4" foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A decent, but not outstanding aroma of wheat, cherries, malt, and some other indeterminate fruits.
T: Tasted of a tinge of hops (mostly in the finish), a good shot of wheat (more than anything), some cherries (could have used more), a funky quality, and pomegranates as well. Like the aroma, the taste was kind of on the thin side. The cherries are there, but they aren't quite strong enough.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Light-bodied.
O: This is one of those inoffensive and forgettable beers. Not bad, but could have better.

Pours a well carbonated pinkish straw color with minimal head. Nose is grass and tart cherry. Taste is bready biscuit upfront with a slap of tart cherry on the finish. Medium-light body and medium-high carbonation.
This beer has a bit of an identity crisis. It's taken on the color, carbonation, and ABV of a flavored gose but has the body and nose of a pale wheat. While an interesting drink, it is only 50% committed to each category so it's difficult to give it a fair rating.

Pours a pretty clear almost peach color. Aroma has some of that (rotten barnyardness) going on. Not a fan, but it's not completely awful. Taste is somewhat tart, rather bland after the swallow. Medium-high carbonation. Refreshing is the best way to describe it.

I mean it is an interesting and kind of tasty beer. I find difficulties to add it to the one category. Kind of a mix between fruit beer, wheat beer and gose or grodziskie. Golden, clear, foam diminish fast. Nose is very grainy, fresh cut hay and some cherries. Flavor is medium sour and a finish is definitely dry. High carbonation. Get some fresh cherry tartness. , indeed. Some fruity tannins. I think it is a very good fruit beer. Refreshing and light.
