One of my favorite IPAs. Tasted from bottle, can and growler pour, and absolutely delicious. It's a light copper color with a few fingers of head. Scents of citrus and pine. Taste is balanced, but definitely demonstrates that pleasant hoppiness you expect in a top IPA. Perfectly carbonated and a dry finish. A must for any true IPA drinker.

12oz. can poured into a hotel tumbler.

Appearance: Bright golden yellow with a nice 1" head that hangs around with sticky lacing.

Smell: Floral hops and citrus, nicely refreshing.

Taste: As in the nose citrus dominant, mostly grapefruit, floral hops. Flavorful IPA, grapefruit citrus balanced well against a malt backbone. Like the freshness and how the can helps keep out any adverse impact form light.

Mouthfeel: Extremely clean, smooth and refreshing.

Overall: Another very sessionable and well constructed IPA, really nice warm summer afternoon beer.

Finally got around to trying this gem. Shared a few with my brother. Bomber poured into Duvel tulip. Two fingers of pillowy head sit on top of a beautiful orange, golden body. Smell is floral and citrus leaning on the citrus. As I let this fish swim on my tongue, the pineapples, peaches and citrus goodness fills my mouth and goes down clean leaving nice sticky lacing on my glass. Dangerously drinkable and just solid all around.

Pours a golden almost orange colour with a slightly beige finger thick head. Getting lots of citrus and tropical fruit, slightly piney hop notes and a pale maltiness on the nose. The taste, wow grapefruit, with a slightly syrupy honey sweetness. That pale malt comes through on the tongue as well. There is a nice hoppy bitterness that is present but doesn't overpower. The mouthfeel is in the medium range with the perfect amount if carbonation. A very tasty IPA.

Fresh in cans. Generally not as good in bottles - less dry hops noticed.

Yeah, I have to admit, this WC IPA really satisfied my palate. Lived up to the hype. Here goes:

A: Clear and light orange color - pours a huge head with adequate lacing. Also a lot of carbonation. Great.

S: Like a WC IPA. A lot of pine and some grapefruit, but these hoppy scents are balanced with a ton of caramel malt. However, the hops also impart a sweet, honeyed scent that allays the bitterness.

T: Reminds me of Sierra Nevada Hoptimum, only much more balanced. Piney hops balanced with sweet honey and caramel. Rather interesting.

M: Great carbonation. Great hop stickiness. Also a lot of caramel malt. Perfect

O: Great beer. Rivals many other great IPA's I've tried.

Date: 3/19/14
Location: Hops and Hocks
Draught/Bottle: Can
Glassware: Delirium Tremens Tulip
Appearance: Pours with a thumb size head of foam which laces down the tulip as I drink. Copper in color and easy to see through.
Aromatics: Big smell of grapefruit and the hops. Having trouble smelling much else because of a cold.
Flavor: The flavor is amazing. The grapefruit hits me in a very creamy way along followed quickly by the bitterness of the hops. The mouthfeel of the beer is the best aspect of the beer, for me, it's so creamy it's like drinking an orange/grapefruit cream soda.
Finish: The creaminess stays on my tongue while the hop tartness hits the back of my throat. It doesn't linger overly long.

12 oz bottle dated 3-4-14

A - Poured into pint glass. Dark golden body, two fingers creamy white head. Lots of nice lacing. Good retention.

S - Tropical fruit and tons of piney hops. Earthy tones, not much malt.

T - A really well balanced taste. Sweet and hoppy, but never too much of either. Only slightly bitter. Perfect, delicious balance.

M - Thin and crisp, very clean. Light to medium carbonation. No booze present. I could down a six pack of this with no problem.

O - I love this beer. One of my favorite IPA's for sure.
