Great, easy drinking ipa. Nice smell, lots of hop flavor, definitely a good one. A bit high priced at $15 a six pack in MD, but worth a try.

Pours shiny orange, just a bit misty, a nice small fluffy head for quite a while.
A really nice balanced smell, with grapefruit, tangerine, pine, light tropical notes, caramel, hop resin. A kind of aroma that would really suit control-freaks, without being too stingy on the intensity.
Lime up front, sweetened towards orange, pomelo and kumquat, with a tropical note rising up, like unripe mango, maracuja, faint kiwi, nice pineapple, really pulpy, a "fat" feel to it. Nice caramel malt, a bit of biscuit. Pine resin hops are really great in the finish, green, spicy, sticky, with a really rewarding bitterness.
Aftertaste is a mouthful of tropical fruit and pine, with some hop oils to boost that lingering bitterness. Medium body, smooth carbonated, a bit sticky.
I understand the hype around Sculpin now. A really great IPA that manages to tick so many things people look for in a "perfect" IPA. Wouldn't be much of a sin to simply call it a perfect IPA actually.

Pours rich copper with a thick head and lingering lace. Smell is almost all hops, with a smack of citrus. Taste is predominately hoppy, would have guessed this was dry hopped. Some citrus notes, but definitely overshadowed by the intense fisting of hops. Overall a very drinkable, possibly my new go to IPA.

Wow. This is an outstanding IPA. The most recognizable smell and flavor is apricot followed by an taste of grapefruit on the backend. There is a wonderful balance between sweetness and bitterness. Delicious and drinkable and my favorite at the moment.

Fresh in cans. Generally not as good in bottles - less dry hops noticed.

Yeah, I have to admit, this WC IPA really satisfied my palate. Lived up to the hype. Here goes:

A: Clear and light orange color - pours a huge head with adequate lacing. Also a lot of carbonation. Great.

S: Like a WC IPA. A lot of pine and some grapefruit, but these hoppy scents are balanced with a ton of caramel malt. However, the hops also impart a sweet, honeyed scent that allays the bitterness.

T: Reminds me of Sierra Nevada Hoptimum, only much more balanced. Piney hops balanced with sweet honey and caramel. Rather interesting.

M: Great carbonation. Great hop stickiness. Also a lot of caramel malt. Perfect

O: Great beer. Rivals many other great IPA's I've tried.
