Purchased at Total Wine, Tampa, $2.99 for the 12 oz bottle.

Appears light amber with coarse, bubbly heady-topping. Smells of pineapple syrup, berry skins, citrus fruits, and a bit of caramel-roasted sugar. Taste comes thru a bit more caustic/acidic/tart at first, bready-maltiness on the follow, and tree fruits throughout. Highly carbonated, prickling. This one was a little more biting than I remember. Perhaps a bad bottle. Very bitter and not as much citrus or tropical fruit flavors like I remember. Will re-review soon!

RE_REVIEW: from the can ["15091" on the bottom means it's an April Fool's baby!]

Smells of grapefruit peel, pine, and resin. Tastes follows suit, but adds a tropical (mango) fruit note that is quite enjoyable, sweet malt backbone enhances this flavor and brings more complexity than your run-of-the-mill IPA. Finishes with clean bitterness. Overall, an exemplar of the style. 9/10

Very good IPA, very drinkable gold/ orange tint. Citrus notes in front and excellent finish. I would say just a tad on heavy side but very drinkable.

I don't think it's as great as some say but i'm spoiled i live in San Diego.
