Notes:
Fathom IPA highlights our favorite characteristics of the west-coast IPA style. This crisp and clean brew features a touch of malt on the surface with an ocean of zesty orange and piney hops below. The result is a refreshing, easy drinking IPA with just the right amount of depth.

Fathom has a medium-to-thick, off-white head, a semi-translucent orange-gold appearance, some lazy ascending bubbles, and moderate glass lacing. Aroma is of fairly dank hop resin, white bread, and some tropical fruit. Taste is of strong hop bitterness, dankness, white bread, white bread crust, and sugar. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and Fathom finishes drying.

love the brewer. Nicely managed this easy going IPA at 6% ABV. Almost an APA or Dales like experience. Would love to blind test in a series of hoppy APAs or mild IPAs. Will try again.
a) Pours bright amber body with a hazy consistency. 1 finger white head with ample density, last, and lace as with all brews from BP.
s) Solid aroma of malt first then piney hops, citrus, tropical fruit, and a long, malty, almost EIPA like bread shop aroma.
t) Very grounded in the malt and bread with layers of tropical fruit marmalade, citrus, piney hops, all balanced and drinkable.
f) Well-carbonated sporting mid weight, good feel, and creamy finish.
o) Clearly their approachable IPA. And I'm coming back for more, could be a regular like Dales. Drinkable, balanced, good with food and friends.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and floral hop notes. Tastes of piney and floral hops with slight malt sweetness and citrus. Beer is light bodied and very easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Not bad. The smell and taste are hard for me to classify. Both come off as a bit muddled to be honest. I don't know what to make of this beer. The taste and mouthfeel are pretty good, but there are better beers for the same price.

12 oz can poured into a Duvel tulip. PKG23SEPT 19 printed on bottom of can. So it's 2 months old. Should still be plenty fresh.
Appearance - Very slightly hazy medium to deep gold body with a large offwhite head with decent retention and low stick. 4
Smell - Faint grass. Slight honey roundness to it. Notably weak for the style. 3.25
Taste - Grass with rounded citrus and honey sweetness. Great balance between the components. 4
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied. Just astringent enough to keep it clean and fresh. 4
Overall - Incredibly drinkable while not being boring or too unchallenging. Great balance. Near perfect for a session IPA. 4.5
