Located in the financial area of town, this place was a rather large and was all dark wood and dimly lit. This atmosphere was weak at best because of the darkness in here and annoying dance music. The bar is large and can seat about 20 people. There are some other tables for drinking and dining around the bar, and a separate room off the back which was closed since there wasn't that many people here.

The beers are listed on a large blackboard just of the side of the bar. Unfortunately the offerings here are not overly exciting. Stella, Sam Adams Summer, Harpoon IPA, Shock Top, Blue Moon, Bud, Bud Lite, Long Trail, Guiness, and Red Hook IPA. I only had one pint here - a Harpoon IPA. Service was quick.

Overall if you are in dire need of a pint, this can do, but there are much better choices in the area.

Tried this place out yesterday as I happened to be walking in the financial district and a friend of mine bartends here. In the 27 years that I have lived in the city of Boston, I believe yesterday was only my second time trying this place out. It seems to have been spruced up from what I remember from maybe 10 years ago as it was pretty ratty back then.

You walk in and the large rectangular bar is right in front of you and it probably seats about 30 or more people. Mostly hardwoods with some tiles and windows that open up to the street and the weather was just perfect outside so it was real comfortable temperature-wise. One of the patrons had to ask them to turn the a/c off as it was not necessary at all but the a/c does seem to work real well, so that could be a consideration for when its real hot outside.

Beer selection was nothing special although they did have Lagunitas IPA on tap which I tried a sample of first. I was a little worried about the draft lines being dirty in a place like this but it tasted absolutley fine. For $5.35--thats a real good price for a pint of good IPA.
My buddy is the bartender so naturally the service was excellent. I tried a clam roll and while it was decent and reasonably priced, it was only the clam strips and to me thats really not fried clams. I ate most of it though and it was pretty good.

Overall, this place is decent --nothing special but decent. I will try it again.
