From the 12 fl. oz. can. The best by date on the bottom is smudged but it appears to read best by 09/07/16. Sampled on July 4, 2016.

The pour is hazy amber-orange with a modest white head that fades slowly.

Wow! They ain't kidding. The aroma runs the gamut of Belgian Abbeys to East Coast IPA's. At first I pick up toasted Belgian malts, sweetness, and yeast and then I get an apricot, fruity, banana, spicy, and vaguely tropical sensation.

Medium to full body.

The taste begins with a toasted sweet malt character but then the bitterness erupts in all its spicy and fruity glory and finishes mostly dry, This is a very nice beer. I'll look for it again.

Amber color and clear. Small head that settles to a thin layer of bubbles. A few streaks left on the glass.

Clean but neutral hop smell.

Starts with an unexpected sweetness of stone fruit but this becomes completely dominated by a strong hop bite. Subsequent sips lose some of the initial sweetness and the beer becomes more traditional. I don't get much in the Belgian department (i.e. Yeast). Long straight bitter aftertaste.

Poured from a 12oz can into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color with a large off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains Belgian yeast, citrus, caramelized malts some floral hops and some spice.

T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of Belgian yeast and a hearty malt character. Then some sweet flavors of caramel, citrus and spice come in. The hops presence is mild for the style but brings a decent balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, decent representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while but there are others in the style that I would choose first.

Hazy, straw white gold color, floaty bits, substantial white foam cover, slow dissipation, constant lace.
Massive hop aroma with an equal, fruity, earthy yeast combo. Sweet fruits, tangy, funky yeast, pineapple, honey, red fruits and dry wheat.
Wowie. Complexity is just massive. Tangy, earthy, dry earth, fruity, fruity,.....dry, sweet red and dark fruits along with an equally dank yeast effect. Feels and tastes like a wet/dry top !
Hefty, heavy, full, jazzy feel, dank and delicious.
12 oz. Can 6 pack purchased directly from the Brewery gift shop.

Yay can, best by 9/27/16

Pours a quickly rising huge 2.5 finger fizzy foamy head that fades slowly after hitting it's peak, mostly clear honey golden yellow color, bit of foamy lacing.

nose big Belgian tripel aromas, tons of fruity esters, a little peppery spice phenols, sweet candy malt notes, toasted biscuity, golden malt, a little sweet amber malt, juicy fruit esters, a touch of yeast, some grassy floral hops, a touch spicy hop.

Taste brings more of the same, a little booze warmth out front, with sweet candy malts, toasty amber malts, a little candi sugar and honey malt, grainy notes, a little yeasty and doughy, cracker blond malts, etc. Then into ester profile, some decent fruity esters, mild flowery spiced phenols as well, mild grassy hops out front that quickly turn super spicy briny chewy hops, and a bit earthy, especially on the dry sticky finish, a little more booze warmth, mild Belgian yeast profile and malts and candi sugar, but tons of chewy spicy hops.

Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, hint of warming booze, plenty of popping zesty carbonation.

Overall not bad, definitely a Belgian tripel out front, then huge spicy earthy hops finishing, the tripel is quite nice, but the hops way over do it unfortunately.

From the can into a tulip glass, pours hazy gold color with a humongous 3 finger white foamy head that had bubbles of all sizes throughout the head which dissipated very slowly, dropping the soap pile like foam with the gentlest of ease while leaving very good spotty lacing.

Smells of yeast, honey, apple, pear, grapefruit, coriander, peppery spices, citrus hops, roasted grains, candied sugar and more doughy notes. It's malty, fruity, spicy and sweet all at the same time and 80% Belgian, 20% IPA.

Taste is more yeast, cardboard, malt, caramel and biscuit, with the fruity notes less prominent. Like the nose the flavor has grapefruit, coriander, honey, apple, pear, candied sugar which is sweeter like a gummy bear, pepper, mild allspice and other light spices, citrus hops, roasted grains, apricot and bread dough. More malty as it fades with a sweetness that resembles balance between the hops and yeast. This hides the 8.5% ABV very well.

Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth with light carbonation, a medium body, a mild bitterness and a sweet grainy ending that finishes on the dry side. Overall a pretty good stab at the style and a decent beer.

Can. Larry Bird themed. Love normal Larry from Wachusett. This one is hoppy but very heavy on Belgian yeast. Loads of clove and spice. Overpowers the other elements of this beer. The flavor brings out more hoppiness than the nose. Also I get some of that deluxe malty sweetness found in American Larry. But then a violent Band Aid taste handslaps all other suitors. Like I said, I love Larry; one of the first awesome hop bombs from Massachusetts. This is a tainted legacy. The Belgian yeast has destroyed everything. They appeared to have inoculated a good beer with devastating Belgian sadness. I googled "best Belgian basketball players". Its a pit! Tony Parker is French but he was apparently born there. Tony Parker is better than this beer.

Was expecting a bigger version of Larry, like a triple ipa. A well done Belgian style triple in a can was a nice surprise. Banana, clove, molasses and some hops. Unexpectedly awesome beer.

12 oz can was poured into a tulip glass.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a hazy orange yellow hue with good clarity of bubbles coming up through the glass.

Smell: Spicy Belgian yeast, tropical, grassy, citrus, vanilla, and caramel.

Taste: Definitely hop forward, Belgian yeast, caramel, vanilla, and tingly bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, tasty, medium bodied, medium carbonation, a little dry, and light bitterness. Easy to drink and delicious.

Overall: Got to love Larry version 2.0. Nice take on the BIPA style. Looking forward to the rest of these in my fridge.
