12oz bottle with a best before July, 2011 notched on the label.
Poured into a Liefmans Cervoise.
A-> pours a beautiful deep amber/tawny-esque color with just about a full finger of head with lots of sticky lacing. Fabulous nucleation (thanks in large part to the glassware I'm sure but still worth noting)
S-> bouquet is tough to place. muted florals, definite spicy grassyness yet no fruity esters or anything resembling citrus is detectable. Leafy hops are present as are bready/biscuity malt aromas albeit very subtle/faint.
T-> Interesting. Hops are obviously prevalent however without the dominating bitterness. The grassy notes from the nose are indeed here but what really took center stage are the malts. Slightly sweet at the start and through the middle with a the bread/biscuit taste showing up as it rolls over the tongue. Finishes with a sweet crispyness.
M-> Very clean, crisp, and refreshing. Fairly light in body with good carbonation.
O-> Very different than most IPAs that I've had, granted my palate isn't the most developed or mature so take that with a grain of salt. But this doesn't mean the beer is bad by any means, just unique and in fact it is quite drinkable and I would imagine will be very refreshing in the coming, warmer months. I would try this again for sure....

Drank from a 12 ounce can from a variety pack.
Appearance: rich honey color, big 2” head, massive lacing.
Smell: malty, subtle hops.
Taste: malty, mild hops and very smooth.
Mouth Feel: medium carbonated, medium feel, very smooth.
Very drinkable. Better than expected for a mass marketed brew. I would purchase again.

-pale amber can pour with a 2cm foam cap. Pine hops in the nose. This presents woody hop notes with some resin. It has light to moderate hop bitterness. Good enough on this hot day.

Big foamy head that stays until the end.
Nice colorful clear orange shade.
Nasty smell of apple cider vinegar.
Tastes better than it smells. A little bitter bite that size for the smell.
Very carbonated and tingly.
All in all... OK.
