Pours a light copper/deep gokden color with a massive pillow of white head. That head never stops! Ha
Smells of faint hops, grass, pine, and a hint of lemon. Very mild toasty grain smell.

Flavor is thin. Nuetral grain, white bread and zippy hops. The second half is hop dominant with slight pine and earth. A bit of citrus fruit zest as well. All flavors are light. Good bitterness on the tail end
Mouthfeel is thin and light, extremely high drinkability. Zesty and tingly hop bitterness

A tasty little light ipa. I like that it has a good malt balance unlike some light ipas. Those just taste like water and hops, but this is tasty and well balanced. I like it.

Had this on tap for the 2nd time now at the Wachusett Mountain pub.

It looks on the golden side of amber. Almost a slight haze to it. A cap of white head sticks around for most of the time.

Aroma is terrific. When I first had this, I thought they gave me a Larry because the citris aroma up front seemed too good for a "light IPA". But once I tasted I could easily tell it wasn't Larry. Anyway - aroma is aromatic with citric fruits. Must be dry-hopped?

Its flavor is nicely balanced. Hops are definitely noticeable, but a respectable malt profile with a noticeable sense of grain matches well with the hops. I really do like how both the malt and hops are noticeable, yet they compliment each other well. Neither sing too loudly, and you can still tell this is a low-ABV brew. It drinks like a breeze.

Mouthfeel is adequate. Understandably a bit thin, but it doesn't detract from the beer.

Overall what I like about this beer is that it tastes like a nice session beer, not just a "light" beer. I wonder if the "light" reference will deter people or lower their expectations? I'm real interested to see what others think of this once it makes it into full rotation for Wachusett. But ultimately in my eyes, it's a win for what it's trying to achieve. Real easy drinking that can please the hop heads.

Appearance: 1 inch head, dark gold in color, medium-high carbonation, clear

Smell: earthiness and citrus fruits

Taste: caramel, earthiness and citrus fruits

Mouthfeel:slightly bitter, light bodied with high carbonation

Overall: A very refreshing, light and earthy IPA. The citrus hops are there, but the hops never overpower. Tasty, but may require a bit more hop power for those into hoppier IPAs.

Another great beer from Wachusett Brewing...This is a great beer if you want to have more than a few. Still has a great taste...it is just a little lighter than the Larry and the Monsta.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle that expires 4/17/15. Sampled on January 26, 2015. I'm not sure when they stopped brewing it but I found it in a new mixed 12 pack today.

The pour is golden-bronze with an off-white foam head that leaves since lacing behind.

The aroma has a modest floral and grassy hop note with toasted malts.

Medium body.

The modest pale malt note mixes well with the better than expected floral hop character. Definitely sessionable.
