Appearance: Served up a clear, coppery-amber body with a half inch of whitish foam.

Smell: Displays a modestly toasted breadiness with an extremely subtle, restrained Noble hop aroma.

Taste: The flavor is dominated by the sweet bready character of the German malts and complimented by a touch of mild spicy Noble hops and bitterness. Faint blip of yeastiness. A few more flourishes of sweetened bread crusts, a crisp finish, and you're out.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation.

Drinkability: As is the case with any well-crafted Oktoberfest brew, it excels in overall drinkability.

On tap at the Westside location where ABV reported as "about 7.2%.
Slightly hazy dark amber body with a decent head that leaves minimal lacing.
This is a delicious, lightly sweet, malt bomb. Very tasty with well hidden alcohol, although it seems clear the ABV is not low.
Mildly bitter finish.
Medium body with medium-light carbonation. Very smooth.

Overall: recommended!

On-tap at the brewpub.

Pours a crystal clear amber-brown color with a one-finger off-white head. The head recedes into a wispy layer on top leaving light lacing.

Smells of bready malts with the faintest hint of herbal hops.

Tastes similar to how it smells. Grainy and bready malt flavors kick things off and are joined shortly by herbal hop flavors that serve only to add a bit of heft to the flavor profile. The ending is crisp and on the sweet side of things.

Mouthfeel is good. It has a solid thickness with grainy carbonation.

Drinkability is good. I finished my glass quickly and could have another.

Overall I was a fan of this beer, however I would have been a huge fan if the flavor and aroma was a bit heavier. Still, well worth a shot.
