750ml bottle purchased from Five Seasons Westside. Served quite cold, but allowed to warm before drinking the majority of the beer.

A: Very nice pitch black beer with one finger of dark head that sits on top. This beer looks quite carbonated, but eventually settles down.

S: Wonderful - Vinous with dark fruit with lots of dark chocolate.

T: Equally as impressive as the smell. More vinous and dark fruit qualities come out, but is balanced by roast and dark chocolate. The three work extremely well together, and fortunately none dominate.

M: A small complaint is that it could be slightly thicker, but was still quite good. Also a bit overcarbonated for my taste.

O: This beer was phenomenal. I was a bit skeptical coming into this as I don't like most "Belgo Imperial Stouts" due to the large amount of dark fruit flavors in the beer, but this was backed up very well by roast and lots of dark chocolate. Impressive, Crawford. I'd like to see you do some more Imperial Stouts.
