look: 3.75 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4
Appearance: Dispenses from the corked, caged bottle a black body with a medium-sized, beige, collapsing head.
Smell: Roast, espresso. Dark fruits but also some additional berryish tones. Mild touch of dark chocolate. Pinch of smoky pipe ash. Characteristic JD scents.
Taste: Dark chocolate is one of the initial flavors but it's not the most particularly strongest taste. Light infusion of whiskey, oak notes. Roast with a slant of coffee. Even a bit of dark toast. Dark fruitiness. Encroaching alcohol presence as you near the sleek finish due to the surprising crispness with final touches of whiskey and dry chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: It's relatively airy mouthfeel keeps it, well, light and refreshing. It's good, and I feel that is the correct opinion to have.
