Went here for dinner and a beer during a business trip to Atlanta and was really impressed. The restaurant is spacious and clean with a very relaxed vibe. My waiter was really cool and the food and the food and beer hit the spot. I had the Turkey Butger and Mr. Pattinson's Scottish IPA. As a huge plus, this brewery is next store to the Hop City Beer shop!

There is a weekly cask ale, but no one else seems very interested in it.
The food is great.
Both times I have visited, I didn't like my beer very much.

The first time I came here was for the weekly cask ale. I came with two friends to try a cascade and mosaic dry hopped IPA and we were hyped up the idea of this beer, but we all thought the beer was not good. Oh well. I later came back here for Friday lunch with my work, and every one really liked their food. However, this time I still didn't like the beer. I got a beer called something along the lines of "How come 47 other states can do growlers but we can't IPA". I still didn't like the beer, I think it was because of the yeast. It was some strain that was not very flocculant at all, and I think it masked the hop flavors too much.

Stopped in here after a trip to Hop City while in town. Pretty empty place when I was there, but a nice set-up and I'm told they brew the beer in house downstairs. A decent selection of taps, a couple house Belgian brews on cask, and a large selection of barrel aged beers in bottles for on-premises consumption only. Bartender was friendly and helpful when I asked about the beers. Seems like it's worth a stop in if you're in the area. Did not eat so nothing to say about the food here.

Being located right next door to Hopcity makes this the place I stop to eat after shopping. Free parking in the lot behind the buildings is a definite plus. The beers are good. I had a cask IPA last time I was there that was above average in my opinion.

This place left me with mixed feelings after I paid a visit with some locals taking me around the craft beer heaven that is Atlanta. We had visited the excellent craft shop next door and came in to try some of the brews they offer here.

The first thing I noticed is that the server really didn't seem to have a command of the beers he was serving. That's not what you'd expect from a GOOD brewery or brewpub; employees should know and love the product they're selling.

Second, the waiter didn't offer or encourage tasting a few beers to find that special one. To me, this is the beauty of the new craft movement. There's an education component and employees should be prepared to do everything possible to leave the customer loving the beer and wanting to come back.

Anyways, I had the Storm Trooper Imperial Stout and enjoyed it. It was a good representation of the style, with a big booze presence masked my delicious malt profiles giving off chocolate, coffee, caramel, bread and other notes. I also tried a friend's Berliner weisse beer and wasn't quite as impressed. There wasn't enough tartness to make the beer exciting.

I also noticed a number of different barrel-aged beers for sale in bottles and was tempted to pull the trigger, but at $20+ per bottle, I wasn't willing to pull the trigger on a complete unknown.

I'd say this place is worth a visit if in the area, but with places like Porter Beer Bar, Wrecking Bar and Brick Store Pub in town, this place can easily become an afterthought.

Oh, and the spent grain bread and calamari weren't much to write home about in the food department.

Stopped in because shopping next door at Hop City Beer made me hungry, and wanted to do something nice for Frau, who waited patiently outside in car.

First impression was that it was very open and had a good early afternoon Saturday crowd. Next best realized that they did a Saturday Brunch!!! Nice hostess.

Brunch menu was very good, saw people next to us get a skillet (Fried eggs over potatoes) and settled on brunch versus a burger. Everything we saw come out of kitchen was plated great and looked good.

I had the Shrimp and grit cakes w homemade chorizo, topped with fried eggs, wife had corned beef hash. Portion size was a little on the light side, but my wife thought it was ok. Flavors were fantastic, they do their own corned beef. I am not a big corned beef fan, but I would love to try their Rueben, very nice corn on their meat. Not salty.
Chorizo had good flavor, but was not as over the top good as the corned beef. It seemed to need more Paprika, the flavor was their, color was off. Also seemed to have a little too much moisture in my dish, which fought with the chorizo flavoring. Shrimp were fresh, and I love the spanish flavors.

Had a Saisson and Belgian white on tap. Saisson was very good, ale was above average, but I wish I went 2-2 on the Saisson. $40 was a little steep, bar server friendly, a little slow, but perfect for brunch. We love the idea of a brunch place that does Saturday as well as Sunday brunch. I will be back, if for nothing else than to sit at bar, and help them keep their taps running. Give this place a look.

Been here a two times, first time i went there they closed early even if it wasn't time yet (as the day was slow), so i was given a couple of minutes to order before they closed the kitchen and had to eat my food and beer as soon as possible as they started turning chairs and mopping and my food hadn't even arrived.
Beer is good, they had a nice tripel and some other options that were fairly good, food was pretty well presented but the portion was on the small size and taste was nothing to write home about.
There are better options out there

One of the top locations in Atlanta in my opinion, and my go-to place to wind down after the day. Conveniently located just off the Georgia Tech campus and a mile or so from I-75 and in the same building as Hop City (a nice little beer store).

The atmosphere is always good, even when packed the noise is tolerable. Lots of TVs, and upstairs outdoor seating with a distant view of midtown.

They have about 10+ brews on tap, generally a couple IPAs, a couple Germans, a couple light Belgians, a seasonal, a pilsner, and some other pales. They usually have 1-2 dark beers on tap (Belgians and/or stouts) but they have special dark beer events at the beginning of each month IIRC.

The quality of the beers are above average. Not the best, but still solid.

Foodwise, they do pub food really well, and also have a lot of different options (beer cheese soup, spaetzel, different types of burgers, steak, fish, pizza, duck, lobster, BBQ, rabbit). Never been disappointed with a meal here.

Although the servers aren't the most attentive, they are better than most pubs/breweries.

Stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Nice restaurant despite some obvious wear on the furniture. Good service and seemed pretty knowledgeable about their beers. Waitress suggested the Iron Horse IPA and it was really fantastic. Food was particularly good too. I could see myself hanging out here if I lived in the area. Looks like they rotate their beers often.

Standard microbrewery setting which is comfortable and laid back with a sense of quality. The bartender was very attentive and knowledgable and eager to discuss the brews. The selection is beyond the expectation of a typical microbrewery and near or beyond the level of larger production craft breweries. The cost is reasonable however I didn't try the food or pay close attention to the menu. The variety was very good and spanned many genres. Overall I have found the five seasons brand to be dynamic and above expectations.

One word, Awesome! We were just passing through after flying into Atlanta and went out of our way for this place. We sat in the bar and the bartender happen to also be the beverage coordinator for the 5 Seasons. And was quite knowledgeable. Beer selection was very good and diverse. They do some caskconditioned beer in different whiskey and scotch and winebarrels. Did not get to try any though.
The food was awesome. It is a USDA certified organic restuarant and alot of their products are also local and they display that in the menu. This place is definitely worth the visit, and Hop City is right next door, and you must check that out as well!!

Their food was not as good as I was expecting it to be given their whole "buy fresh local ingredients" theme. My Cuban sandwich was not at all impressive and my wife's Fish & Chips were well...the fries were awesome but the fish was not. Our son and my sister-in-law shared a 5-cheeze pizza that was decent. Our waiter was very nice and answered any questions I had about their beer.

I tried three of their beers. The first was their "Oaky-Fenokee", a Jack Daniel's barrel aged imperial porter. It was good but a little too much time in the barrel, imo. The dark malt & roasted grains had a tough time competing with the HUGE oak flavor. Our waiter said "6 months in the barrels" but he didn't sound too sure.

The second beer I tried was, by far, my favorite. It was their IPA, can't remember the name. It poured a cloudy yellow-orange. Smell and taste were wonderful, classic american hops. Tons of grapefruit, citrus and pine.

The last beer I tried was their Octane Expresso Brown Ale on cask, made with coffee from the shop across the street. This was my least favorite. The best part was it's appearance. It started out great with a beautiful creamy head but went downhill from there. Not much aroma and even less flavor. Also we were there on a Saturday and they tap their casks on Thursdays, so it was already pretty flat by then. Not a bad beer, just very uninteresting.

A bonus to this location is it's right next door to Hop City!

Having been to the 5 Seasons Prado several times recently, I was expecting the Westside to be quite similar, albeit with a slightly different beer line-up. Well, they share an advertising budget, target the same clientele, and have a moderately up-scale venue, but they are clearly independent facilities. The menus, brews and Brewmasters are completely independent. (Sept. 2016: Keven McB. now head brewer for both?). For the beer aficionado, this is the better location of the two, and perhaps the best Atlanta has to offer in the category of brewpubs serving good food and only their own beers. Beers at both locations are mostly in the very good to excellent range, but Westside has more offerings and more variety. They also have vintage bottles -- these, however, are large (750ml?) and quite pricy (~$25).

Service was outstanding despite being quite busy on a Friday night. {service was less stellar, to be kind, on 2 more recent visits, but still average or above) After detecting that I had a more than casual interest in beer, the waiter shared some of his detailed knowledge about some of the beers and provided a free sample of one I had seemed most excited about. He certainly earned a 5, but some others in our party received just very good service.

A two-level facility, there are bars on both levels, with the larger main bar and dining area downstairs. The main attraction upstairs, weather-permitting, is the large outside balcony and patio.

Their menu specialties include seafood. Exceptional spent-grain bread.

Free convenient parking in a deck behind and adjoining the brewpub.

Added bonus: the superb Hopcity beer store is right next door.

I'll definitely go back soon.

I try to visit Five Seasons about once a month, so its hard to believe I haven't reviewed it yet. I'm even more surprised at the relatively low marks this place gets!

The atmosphere of the main bar is pretty average - large room, huge glass walls looking out onto the street, fairly lively bar area during happy hour. It gets a slightly-above-average mark due to the cool views from upstairs.

Beer quality is also pretty much average - the everyday stuff is usually something I couldn't care less about, but some Crawford does some amazing saisons, and has a barrel-aged program that is top-notch. Only problem is that you definitely have to pay for the bottles ($25ish), or, go when they are half off at various events through the year (Beer week/anniversary's/snow days/half off coupons). Selection is pretty standard for a brewpub - about 6 of their own beers, plus a few bottles and the occasional cask.

Service has always been ok for me, and the place can get on the higher side of the price spectrum. Entrees typically run $15-25, but you usually get a good meal back. However, on the occasion that a plate isn't very good, this high price point can really be frustrating. Beer is higher than most brewpubs nationwide, but Atlanta has higher bar prices period.

Overall, a nice brewpub.

Decided to stop in after leaving our oldest son who is attending Georgia Tech. Conveniently located next to Hop City, one of my favorite stores.
Restaurant has a nice feel upon entering. Service was friendly and prompt. Beer selection was decent with about seven or eight of their brews available.
I opted for the Belgian Wit and a Stepchild Saison, both of which were good choices. The bratwurst dinner plate was delicious and my wife and sons enjoyed their dinners. A decent value for the price.
I greatly enjoyed my visit and will definitely go again.

I stopped in here for a beer after I picked up a 6er of Dales Pale ale at the beer shop next door. They had a handful of their own beers on tap as well as a bunch of cellared beers, some of which looked very cool. Sadly the bottles were all 750s at $25/each so I wasn't up for drinking a whole one on my own.

The service was decent and the atmosphere was ok - it seemed kind of like a chain restaurant. I didn't get any food but it looked decent.

Overall I'd say it's a decent stop, you won't be blown away by their IPA but it's nice and drinkable.

I love the original 5 Seasons. I was excited to try this place out when it first opened, and that was my first and only trip ever.

Our waiter told a girl in my party that she would like a hefeweizen because she was a girl, when she specifically asked for a list of beers.

The beer here is also not as well crafted as it is at the original 5 seasons in my opinion. Food on the other hand, was refreshing and good. You can get tired of seeing the same menu over and over again, and the new menu items here vs. the original 5 seasons were a nice variety.

I may go back some day, but for now I'll stay away.

Visited this location this past Saturday afternoon, making this location the last of the three to visit. I honestly can't believe that it has taken me this long to get over to this location, but such is life...

The location of this Five Seasons is by far and away the best of the locations. Great view of the Atlanta skyline from the 2nd story and it seems that this side of town is trying to be revitalized. So, we walked into the establishment and sat down in the outside patio of the 2nd floor. Some good rock music was playing and the weather was nice, so along with the view the vibe was good. The crowd was a little sparse, but it was 2pm, the bar was empty, but people were enjoying the nice weather and were sitting outside.

We sit down and must have waited a good 10 minutes or so for a waiter to show up and give us a menu...a food menu. I think that he saw the perplexed looks on our faces when we did not see any beer listed on the menu, so he asks if we would like to see the beer menu. Really? I would think that this is why most people come to Five Seasons is for the beer, but it is Atlanta. Anyway, being knowledgeable about beer, my wife and I ask him a few questions about the ABVs of the beers, because we have to drive home, and some various other questions to try to find out what we might want. Needless to say, he could answer few of our questions and the ones that he could, he tried to liken them to larger brewery beers. With no help from our waiter, my wife chose the Golden Number Ale and me the La Provence Saison. The Saison was decent, more fruity and less spicy than expected, but the Golden Number Ale was awful, so much so, we sent it back. It had an awful metallic aftertaste. But this was the next ordeal. I must have taken our waiter another 10-15 minutes to bring our beers to us and then once we got them did not check on us for another 15 minutes after taking our order. At this point, I was not all that concerned, as it was a nice day and we really didn't have anywhere to pressing to be. A different waiter brings us our food and my wife tells him about the beer and orders an IPA. We finished our meal and my wife never got her beer and I bet that we didn't see our waiter for 45+ minutes. Finally, our waiter comes back, we tell him about the beer and if we can get our check. As expected we don't see him for another 15+ minutes and during that time I had to go to the bar to ask for our check. To make matters even worse, we had been to the Prado location a few weeks back and because of a poor experience there, we had some gift cards. That just threw another wrinkle into the whole mess. In total, I think that we were there for over 2 hours and we had 1 beer between us. The food was good and it had a selection of maybe 8 styles of beer and we thought it was reasonably priced, except for the fact that our waiter told us the gift cards were only good at the Prado location, which we found extremely hard to believe.

Overall, I doubt that we will be heading back for awhile, not even to use our gift cards. Very disappointing.
