Stopped by just a couple of day ago to check out their selection. Overall, a pretty good selection of high abv beers for TN. The beer room is very spacious and the cooler selection is very reasonable.

My only negative is that some of the beers were very outdated. Their selection of Oskar Blues was very old with no new stock added. But, the customer service was good. Was able to pick up several new bombers that I've never had before so was pleased overall with the selection.

I haven't found a large number of good stores in Nashville so I'm glad to find another one with a decent selection.

Grace's is a diamond in the rough in the middle of a nice Green Hills area. They do not have a huge selection of beer, but what they do have is high quality. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. You will find most special releases distributed to TN at Grace's (while supplies last). This would include Sierra Nevada, Star Hill, Terrapin, Schlafly, Sprecher, Sam Adams, New Belgium, and Stone. They also carry Blackstone Adam Bomb and Yazoo Sue. The beer is located in a small side room of the liquor store. If you hoping to find something different at a reasonable price, I would recommend Grace's if you are in the area.

Grace's is mostly devoted to spirits and wine (hence the name), but they also have a nice selection of high gravity beer. Some of the beer is in coolers, but most is in a separate room devoted to both beer and Scotch. This room is cool (literally) and has no exposure to light, which I appreciate.

The store has an overall upscale and roomy feel to it. Wooden shelves from floor to ceiling are a classy touch. This is a great place to shop if you like to take your time and don't care for the bustle of crowds.

They tend to have many of the same beers you might find at other shops in town, but also carry several you won't find anywhere else. It's also a good place to go if you're trying to find a limited release beer, as this store gets less traffic than the big downtown beer stores.

Service has always beer helpful and courteous, whether in person or over the phone. I've seen a few issues with outdated beer that others have mentioned, but I've seen similar problems at all other Nashville shops.

They have periodic tastings for both beer and wine/spirits but I haven't made it to one yet. That's a great feature and I hope to take advantage of it soon. I do wish the location was different - being so close to Green Hills mall makes for terrible traffic, at least when I tend to go at lunchtime.

Overall an excellent shop for high alcohol beer in Nashville.

Tucked into a strip mall just out of town I'm very glad I stopped by this place. Big open space when you walk in. Lots of wine, and a small cooler of beer. Then I found the beer room. A great selection (for Tennessee that is) of high gravity beers. Plenty of Yazoo Terrapin and Sweetwater but also lots of other things. I was fairly pleased with the selection compared to most places I had stopped. Helpful customer service but not the most knowledgable people in the world. The place is really nice though and I was very pleased with the stop. Would definitely recommend stopping

Wandered in while the rest of the family was shopping in the Green Hills area.

Great find. A single cooler section contained a few sixers and 2 bomber selections. Almost missed the beer room. Glad I didn't.

10 or so shelf units devoted to an even mix of imports and micros. Selection split between sixers and bombers, with a few singles of the pricier selections.

20 or so sixer selctions stacked on the floor opposite the wall of shelves. Some of these selections were a bit dated, but probably still good. 2 cases of SN Celebration, for instance.

Service was eager and informed.

Other stores have better selections in Nashville, but this is a place worth shopping.

Grace's is one of my two preferred high ABV stops in Nashville (the other being my local place). Great selection of high abv beers, consistently have whatever is new, and as has been noted, all of it is kept in a climate controlled room totally isolated from all sunlight. Only reservation in regards to quality is some older stock, but that can likely be traced back to the distributor. Just check your date codes when buying. Prices are comparable to anywhere else in the city - reasonable.

Service is great as well, always seem willing to help. They'll call you if they get something you're looking for in, and they give off the vibe that they actually care about beer. Contrast and compare this with Frugal's and/or Midtown, in which beer is an afterthought.

All things considered, this is probably my favorite overall spot in the city. Beer matters to them, and that matters to me.

I usually hit Midtown while I'm in Nashville but I decided to give Grace's a go first this time...

This is a very impressive place...everything is neat and orderly and grouped by brewery.. Everything was easy to find... I picked up some Dale's Pale, some more Sue, a sixer of Hopsecutioner and a sixer of Yakima Twilight and it was a touch over $50... Pretty reasonable I thought...the employees knew about the beers as well which was nice... There were several selections that were out of date.. Stone IPA was way past but for some reason it always is around here... A big plus is that the beer is kept climate controlled and away from sunlight (take notes, Midtown!!!).

Overall, a great place for beer.. This will more than likely be my high ABV stop in Nashville now...

Relatively new store in the Green Hills are of Nashville. Traffic in the neighborhood can be a real bitch, but if you are ever over there Grace's is certainly worth stopping by.

Pretty big store, primarily dedicated to wine and liquor. There is a smaller room to the right when you walk in that is filled with beer and scotch. Very good selection of higher ABV beers (which is all they can legally carry). Beers from Oskar Blues, Stone, Avery, Schlafly, Great Divide, Terrapin and more. A nice Belgian selection including Chimay and Rochefort. Definitely one of the better selections of high ABV beers in Nashville.

Staff was very friendly and eager to help out. Check dates on bottles because some of the stuff I saw in there were seasonal releases last fall. Not sure what kind of turnover they have. Nothing I looked at was out of date, but worth keeping an eye on.
