Appearance: A glowing, hazy gold color.

Smell: Fruity with a bit of sulphur.

Taste: Sweet fruity flavors, soft orange, maybe vanilla, some wheat. Also a bit of sulphur.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied.

Overall: A lovely wit beer, but the sulphur was unfortunate.

Bomber poured into my large Gulden Draak tulip,
French Prarie Blanche is a hazy straw yellow with a small white head that quickly fades to a large bubbled collar, leaving no lace.

Smell is a light, sweet fruitiness, orange gaining strength as it warms.

Taste is not really sweet, slightly grainy, some citrus and a spicy finish. Like I suspected from the nose, this beer is a bit oxidized, dulling the flavor. These are fresh bottles for the season, so I have to assume it was mishandled somewhere up to bottling by the brewery. Not ruining the taste mind you, but not doing it any favors...

Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied, not a as thin as it tastes, a sharp bite from the coriander on the finish.

Drinkability is ok. Not offensive, just a bland, thin wheat ale attempting to supplement character with coriander. I guess it's about average...

This ale's wit yeast imparts a complementary vanilla/bread dough aroma and strong notes of clove to the taste. The beer is bright chamomile color, slightly hazed, and comes with a velvety head of creamy white suds spewing broad, gripping lace.

French Prairie is less peppery than most wits in our region and has stronger notes of vanilla-cream. It's also brighter yellow than is customary and is mostly yeast driven though with a strong measure of orange peel.

Very enjoyable.

An unfiltered Blonde, brewed in the belgian style (so, maybe a wit?), with some orange peel and corriander added.

Pours a hazy pale straw yellow.

Clear floral honey sweetness. Watered down mouthfeel, sweet and crisp. Fresh flower nectar, orange blossom, and a bit light on the corriander/spices.

A good summer drinker, nice and light. It's rather one-dimensional, and I was wearing down as I drank it down. It's slightly watery/aqueous mouthfeel doesnt inspire much enthusiasm.
