First off, this is by far the best liquor store I have been to. That should set the tone right there.

The quantity of selection is quite impressive. They claim to stock over 1000 different beers and I believe it. In speaking to one of the friendly gentlemen that works there, they are shooting for 1500 currently. The back of the store is literally hard to walk through, there is beer stacked to the ceiling on all sides. Somehow, they are apparently adding even more shelving to go with their continually expanding selection. I'm not sure how they're going to do it but I look forward to seeing it.

Furthermore, to go with their quantity is their quality of selection. They aren't just trying to go for big numbers, they have all the good stuff from every genre of beer. They are big into this website in fact, as some of their cooler cases have beeradvocate reviews taped to them. It is hard to find a bad choice here - of course they have the standard "lite" beers but they are confined to a small part of the cooler. Everything else, you can pretty much just reach out and grab something blindly and it will probably be pretty good.

This ties into the service. The two gentlemen who I have seen there every time I have gone are definitely beer enthusiasts. Their knowledge is encyclopedic, even on things that they do not or can not stock. They literally seem happy to help. They will talk to you about beer all day if you want to. They are great for suggestions, reviews, or just general knowledge. They also maintain a Facebook and Twitter account with frequent (couple times a week) updates about their latest arrivals. So you don't have to keep stopping by to see what they have, you can just check their page once in a while. You can request that they hold you stuff behind the counter and they will do it, no questions asked. They even do "giveaways" of the really hard to find stuff. They will also give away glasses if they have them. Can you ask for more?

Cost-wise they are pretty good. Most of their prices are typical. However, as mentioned, they give 10% off if you buy 6+ individual bottles, and 15% if you buy 12+. Suddenly you are talking smoking deals on everything if you decide to stock up. Save your pennies and buy in bulk! I can't seem to walk out without being at least $100 lighter.

Finally, they have regular beer tastings with some quite nice vendors. Good if you're into that sort of thing. Just shows another level of commitment to their brews.

Needless to say, a VERY impressive place to visit. I would say their only downside is their square footage, they are rapidly outgrowing their location and I feel like I'm going to need to lose weight to be able to walk around soon!

I refer to Redstone as the best liquor store in the state and I don't dub that title lightly. The beer selection is incredible without leaving out the regular mass produced stuff. Prices are good. The new store is unbelievable. They always seem to get the special release stuff. It's just an extremely well curated store with a great social media presence.

You walk in to some of the most knowledgeable staff ever. A huge selection, with good prices to start and then they let you know if you purchase 6 single bottles big or little you get 10% off or 12 you get 15%. Staff is friendly, helpful, and very enthusiastic about beer. One of if not the best beer store I have been in. Nothing bad to say.
